7 What will CPMS do? CPMS has been designed to: Enable users to capture data relating to study management and research activity through systems interfacing, document uploading or direct form entry. Through task, workflow and form engines built within the system, CPMS manages data for studies, sites, trusts and our wider Network. Through in system charting, a separate reporting database and an interface with the Open Data Platform, CPMS will improve the way we can report at a Local and National Level. Through connectivity to LPMS systems it will provide real time data on research opportunities enabling pipeline management to take place. Through connectivity to other national systems it will inherently improve data quality and the speed at which data is input.
