7 Chair s Welcome We are delighted to welcome you to the International Conference on Humanities, Education, Business & Social Sciences, taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, from October Education, in our contemporary world, is a right since we are born. Every experience has a formative effect on the constitution of the human being, in the way one thinks, feels and acts. One of the most important contributions resides in what and how we learn through the improvement of educational processes, both in formal and informal settings. Our International Conference seeks to provide some answers and explore the processes, actions, challenges and outcomes of learning, teaching and human development. Our goal is to offer a worldwide connection between teachers, students, researchers and lecturers, from a wide range of academic fields, interested in exploring and giving their contribution in the field of research. We take pride in having been able to connect and bring together academics, scholars, practitioners and others interested in a field that is fertile in new perspectives, ideas and knowledge. We counted on an extensive variety of contributors and presenters, which can supplement our view of the human essence and behavior, showing the impact of their different personal, academic and cultural experiences. This is, certainly, one of the reasons we have many nationalities and cultures represented, inspiring multi-disciplinary collaborative links, fomenting intellectual encounter and development. We would like to express thanks to all the authors and participants, the members of the academic scientific committee, our media partners and, of course, to our organizing and administration team for making and putting this conference together. Hoping to continue the collaboration in the future. Dr. Balachandar S. Sayapathi (PhD) Conference Chair Person

12 International Conference on Humanities, Education, Business & Social Sciences Interviews the Vietnamese Household to explore their Purchasing Decision: A Case Study on Chinese Imported Goods Pham Tien Tung 1*, Tran Hong Ngoc Thuy 2 The relationship between Vietnam and China has existed for thousands of years and has been extremely complicated. Vietnam and China have been both enemies for thousands of years and at the same time is critical economic partners with each other. In recent years, tensions outside the East Sea have made the relationship even worse. Most recently, the demonstrations took place throughout Vietnam, accompanied by violence also partly because of the sensitive relationship between these two neighbors. At this critical time, it is impossible to ignore the effects of consumer attitudes toward Chinese products, as China is the country that Vietnam imports the most. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of ethnocentrism, animosity and nostalgia factors on purchasing decisions of Vietnamese households when they buy goods imported from China. Using Qualitative data collection, through Interviews of 9 households from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with 16 respondents to find out the effect of these factors. The results of the study show that although the ethnocentrism, animosity, and nostalgia exist in these households, they have no visible impact on the Vietnamese buying decision on Chinese imports. This contradicts earlier studies, thus leading us to believe that the cause comes from a sort of paradigm shift, changing the effect of these factor on consumers purchase decision. Keywords: Ethnocentrism, Animosity, Nostalgia, Vietnamese Household, Purchase Decision, Chinese Product. 1,2 FPT University, Vietnam vominhhieu.hugh@gmail.com,tungptsb60913@fpt.edu.vn

13 International Conference on Humanities, Education, Business & Social Sciences Technology in Education: A Case Study of Applying Google Classroom Tran Hong Ngoc Thuy * Recently, technology are becoming a powerful tool for transforming learning. It can support for the communication between educators and students, learning and collaboration, and improve the learning experiences to meet the needs of all learners. One of the most important aspects of technology in education is its ability to level the field of opportunity for students. To this end, schools have an important role in applying technology for education in the most effective way. In this study, we will discuss the important role of technology in education and how people can adopt new technology. Specifically, in this research we will take a look at Google Classroom- an education platform, to see more the way technology presence in education. Our findings are that although technology aways affect education, it depends mostly on Attitude, Subjective Norm and Perceived Behavioural Control more than anything else. Google Classroom in particular highly changed the way students accepts knowledge, rather than spoon-fed by the teacher or left in a sea of books for students to fish out, relevant knowledge can be condensed, modified, and presented in the way that the teacher find most suitable for students as well as accepted by students in the pace that they find most accomodating. The dependence on Subjective Norm and Perceived Behavioural Control is a limitation, however, as many cultures do not accept change as readily as others, making the spread of technology a slow one. Furthermore, the scope of the research was done not on a big scale, due to lack of resources on the authors part, and thus more research must be carried out to see exactly how quickly such technological improvements can be accepted and whether or not it is worth doing during the time of technological boom such as now. 14 International Conference on Humanities, Education, Business & Social Sciences Exploring the Impact of Artificial Intelligence from Technology 4.0 on International Education Le Thi Phuong Nhung * This paper studies the impact of artificial intelligence on teaching and learning in an international higher education. In addition, it investigates the integrating between the process of applying AI technology to education and the human resources needs of all international firms. The modern of technological advances and the increasing pace of penetrating of new technologies in higher education are explored to anticipate the future nature of new education in a world where artificial intelligence is an important part. Furthermore, the following chapters will address the challenges for higher education institutions and students in the application of these technologies to teaching, learning, student support, job search and managerial information between enterprises. A typical example of education 4.0: many well-known universities establish a center to collect of lectures by professors and record videos. After that, the syllabus and lecture will be updated rapidly to cloud memory for all students across the world. The contest will be discarded but instead will be an individual study. Research topics will be compiled and compared based on the needs of other countries. That is, the universities associate the API with the recruiting firm to get employment needs. From there, the topic of study will ask students to do. Then, research results will put AI technology into grading. AI will know that the research results of the student will match the recruitment needs of any company and put it on the candidate list. Teachers will score based on the percentage of similar ideas that AI provides and the level of satisfaction of the business. In conclusion, technology 4.0 provides the right path to training as well as creating the right professional resources, not wasted. Students across the world can choose the school they prefer, improve the quality of their internationalization, and reduce the dropout rate due to depression. The universities in the host country do not have to cost much to hire professors and build facilities as well as businesses will find the right candidate. Artificial Intelligence will greatly assist in analyzing and sending the work needs of each country to the school. After that, the school curriculum has always been updated with new trends. 15 International Conference on Humanities, Education, Business & Social Sciences Exploring Vietnamese Household Purchasing Decision in Shopping Foreigner Products Through Examining the Billing Description Method Nguyen Huu Minh Tam 1*, Huynh Gia Thuy 2 Through usage of secondary data together with newly collected bills from multiple households in the period from 13th May 2018 to 13th July 2018, we explored that Ethnocentrism and Animosity does not affect the purchase decision of Vietnamese people as much as previous studies suggest, only half of the households completely reject them, while half is still willing to buy Chinese products as much as any other foreign products. While the research was conducted in the 2 largest cities of Vietnam and accurately depicts the mentality of its people, although it might not necessarily be the case for smaller cities, towns or other provinces and thus might require more research if Chinese companies wish to promote their products in more rural areas. Since there are many foreign products traded in Vietnam, our research would mainly focus on Chinese products which dominating much consumption. The research is based on model of Animosity, Nostalgia and Ethocentrism, examining how those factors affect to the shoppers decision making. The authors strongly believe that those findings would be very helpful for manufacturers, importers, governments, retailers and consumers to aware more about the trading and branding context. They can adjust their behavior to get a better business decisions. This study examines few factors which include the gender of the owner of the organizations, the characteristics of the organizations, possible obstacles faced by obstacles the preferred sources of capital to run the business by the firms and annual sales in few fiscal years. The aim of this study is to analyze these factors and the impact on the sales growth rate from these factors in the firms in Bangladesh in several years. This study uses the data from the enterprise survey conducted in Bangladesh by World Bank in 2007 and in The descriptive analysis shows that 29.2% and 18.1% of the firms had at least one female owner, participated in the survey in 2007, 2013 respectively. Political instability was considered as one of the major obstacles and finance from the internal funds/ retained earnings was considered as one of the major sources of capital to run business in both surveys conducted in 2007 and A linear regression was conducted to find out the impact on the sales growth rate from the factors. 17 International Conference on Humanities, Education, Business & Social Sciences Evaluating the Disability Customers Satisfaction of the Public Transportation in Ho Chi Minh City Phan Duc Minh 1*, Trinh Thi Yen Anh 2, Hoang Thi Tu Anh 3, Tran Dinh Thanh 4 The research students assessed the customer satisfaction in the public transportation sector by selecting and testing the amended SERVQUAL Model, an expectancy-confirmation model clustering 29 areas into six dimensions. Over three hundred bus passengers, who are the people with disabilities in Ho Chi Minh City, have participated in this study. Results showed that the customer satisfaction of people with disabilities was extensively varied by age and disability classifications, even though this research failed at using SERVQUAL as a chosen model to estimate the customer satisfaction due to a lack of reliable statistical evidence. Although there was a sign of some correlation among some factors, the model showed no regression between each variable. However, based on the qualitative findings, the authors recommended that the administrators who monitor the public transportation system needed to consider to adjust the employees attitude towards people with disabilities in the short-term period by changing the subsidy mechanism and applying the smart-card system to track the volume of passengers. In the long term, enhancing the transportation infrastructures, which means to make it more convenient and more accessible for many people, is essential to maintain the customer retention.
