Ongoing Pressure Vessel Engineering Design Review Project Shell (USA)/ Metarock Nexus was selected by Shell to provide its Professional Engineering Licensing in evaluating the design of eighteen (18) pressure vessels. A comprehensive calculation package was created and Stamped for each vessel. ASME VII was used as a criterion for comparison. Completed
8 Subsea Training PCSB/JPK Nexus was selected by PETRONAS (PCSB) to provide training on: Level 2, Subsea Front End Engineering (FEED) training Level 2, Subsea Umbilical and Subsea Distribution System training Nexus created presentation material, animations, workshop, assessment exam and trainer's manual for each module Ongoing Patricia Water Injection System Murphy JP Kenny Malaysia was awarded the Patricia and Serendah Pipeline and Subsea Pre-FEED study for a Water Injection System. Based on Patricia Gas Production draw-down by 2013, Murphy wanted a feasibility study that would introduce two Water Injection Wells that would allow for increased production. Processed water is pumped from 13km to the Water Injectors; whereas, the control system is located 1km away on the Patricia Platform. Nexus provided: The subsea control system (MCS, EPU, TUTA, Umbilical, SUTA and Flying Leads) ranges from simple direct hydraulics to complex MUX systems. Developed a conceptual study report that examined an array of field architectures, using proven technologies. A Cost Analysis was provided as part of the study to ensure that CAPEX and OPEX are optimized. COMPLETED
9 Subsea Control System Precommissioning Woodside (AUS) JP Kenny Malaysia was requested by Woodside Australia to provide pre-commissioning Subsea Control System Test Leadership at Keppel Shipyard Singapore. Nexus was contracted to play a lead role in representing Woodside to successfully pre-commission the MCS, EPU, HPU and ESD system; including testing of Control System Lines on the OKHA FPSO. An extensive testing program was reviewed, with daily readiness reviews, interfacing with SBM and implementation of control system. COMPLETED 2011 Liwan Umbilical System CNOOC Technip Malaysia was contracted by COOEC to perform the conceptual and detailed engineering for the Liwan 3-1, Block 29/26 Field Development. Technip contracted NEXUS to develop a feasibility study of Umbilical, Umbilical Installation and possible utilization of Subsea System SSIV. ISO was used as a bench mark to provide a customized report. COMPLETED 2010 PROD Tool Testing BP JP Kenny Malaysia was requested by BP United Kingdom to provide technical expertise to support its new Seismic Tool Technology for the Shendiz Caspian Project (AzSPU). Nexus was screened and selected by BP to oversee the qualification of its new PROD technology in Brisbane Australia. Extensive seismic testing and drilling tool functionalities were tested to ensure product integrity and reliability. COMPLETED 2010 SSIV Control System Design (TGT) Petro Vietnam JP Kenny Malaysia was contracted by Petro Vietnam to provide pipelines and subsea control system FEED / detailed design engineering. TGT Field Development required expertise that would guide TGT, Hong Long JOC and Petro Vietnam with a subsea controls solution. NEXUS team started out by creating an Interface Management Tool to identify technical and contractual gaps. Then the team set out through a series of studies, detailed reports, data sheets and vendor product reviews to provide a topside-to-subsea SSIV control system that was located on the Bumi Armada FPSO. COMPLETED
10 Gumusut-Kakap Shell Gumusut-Kakap is a deepwater field located in Sarawak Malaysian waters. JP Kenny Malaysia was awarded the SIFOE contract by Shell Malaysia to put an umbrella team that will pull in global expertise to successfully deliver the project. NEXUS was one of the global experts selected and seconded to Shell. The scope of work was related to Subsea Control System, Manifold System and IWOCS/CWOR systems in a lead role. Well over 100 documents were reviewed and approved: FAT and EFAT Testing of IWOCS HMI was conducted in Norway Kongsberg EFAT testing of IWOCS and CWOR System including the EDP / LRP breakaway system were tested and approved (Johor Bahru Malaysia) Production, WI and GI Manifold testing; including control system testing was conducted and approved in Lumut Malaysia HAZOP and HAZID's for IWOCS and Control Systems were conducted in Shell's KL Deepwater Office COMPLETED 2010 Festoon System BP A new Festoon design was required by BP in the Gulf of Mexico that would meet the stringent standards - harsh Arctic environment.
