Get to learn our recently developed pressure sensor with MUD resistant cable for the Oil & Gas market. This sensor meets the latest changes in applicable legislation and has approvals like ATEX Ex-I, Ex-D, IECEx and FM. Our new DPI620 generate value to our customers through efficient and accurate calibration of pressure and temperature sensors. Combined with our powerful 4Sight software, the calibrations are being tracked and recorded in a very professional manner. Maintaining compliance with pollution control regulations requires measurement at low flow and at high flow, and verification of meter performance. 6 Measurement & Sensing Presenter: Peder Staubo Topic: DP for fiscal metering in SPFM and MPFM Pressure and temperature are fundamental data in venturi-based flow measurements. GE has taken special consideration into the design of subsea deltap and pressure/temperature sensors for increased accuracy and reliability. How we deal with matters as line-pressure compensation, wide dynamic ranges, limited servicing and long life time will be discussed. The next generation deltap sensors will be presented. Presenter: Brahim Bouzaiza Topic: Aurora laser technology: moisture measurement in natural gas The new Aurora TDLAS hygrometer enables natural gas processing and transportation facilities to monitor moisture content in real time with high precision and reliability. GE s Aurora analyzer uses tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) to measure moisture in natural gas rapidly and accurately. Aurora s fast response quickly alerts and documents when moisture concentrations are out of compliance. Once process upsets are corrected and the gas dries out, the fast response enables natural gas to be cleared for entry into the energy grid. Presenter: Peder Staubo Topic: Reliability in subsea instrumentation 25 years life time without servicing or calibration is typical subsea instrument requirement. Discussions around the technology and quality assurance required to satisfy the special requirements will be given. GE is the only subsea sensor provider with own sensing technology implemented. Bently Nevada Session Type: Demonstration Presenter: Petri Nohynek Topic: Scout 200 -next generation of portable monitoring instruments Next generation of portable data collectors for ATEX Zone 1 and CSA Class 1 Division 1 hazardous rating area is here. The system is a hybrid design of an Android phone and a separate data collection instrument, communicating to each other via Bluetooth. Providing very fast, accurate data collection and ability to do troubleshooting on site the product will be part of the new Bently Nevada System 1 Evo family. It uses advanced NASA-developed technology to provide automated set-up and fault diagnosis with minimal user intervention. It is simpler to use and more cost effective than conventional systems. AnomAlert is applicable to a wide range of driven equipment, including pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors, and is particularly valuable for equipment in inaccessible or hazardous environments. 12 PII Pipeline Solutions Presenter: Martin Bluck Topic: Addressing current threats to offshore pipeline safety with latest generation MFL technology In the last 5 years more than 1,000 inspections have been completed on & off-shore with the latest generation mult-mission MFL ILI technology, capturing information on more than 50,000 km of pipe, and generating a significant volume of dig verification data. In collaboration with Oil & Gas pipeline operators around the world this data & experience has been leveraged to enhance existing specifications & develop new ones to better address current threats to pipeline integrity including complex interacting corrosion, pinholes, girth/spiral weld anomalies, mechanical damage... 13 Integrity in Flexible Risers Presenter: Geoff Eckolds Topic: MAPS inspection technology for flexible risers Flexible risers are critical equipment in floating production operations, and they are subject to the most demanding of operational conditions. Yet, their structural integrity is difficult to assess as conventional inspection technologies are confounded by the complexity of the flexible pipe design. GE s MAPS-FR is the industry s only tool to truly assess the integrity of the key components of the pipe s construction: the steel armor layers. It can be applied to any flexible riser from any manufacturer.
