This prduct is an indr Instrument which cnfrms t Standard B style- I type- GB9706.1. These units are designed fr labratry use by persns knwledgeable in safe labratry practices. The peratr shuld never pen r repair the instrument. Opening r repairing the instrument will vid the guarantee and can cause accidents. The pwer plug shuld safeguard against an electric shck. The 3-pin plug supplied with the instrument shuld be matched with a suitable grunded scket. The instrument shuld be used in an area with lw temperature, little dust, n water, n sunshine r hard light and with gd air circulatin. D nt use where there is crrsive gas r a strng magnetic field. PLATFORM INSTALLATION Six kinds f platfrms are available fr the Orbital Shakers. Installatin frbt909-a r BT909-B Take ut the 2 flask Attach the platfrm with Put the 2 flask clamps clamps in the middle. 4 M4X8 screws. back n the platfrm OPERATION GUIDE Setting Speed and Timing 1. When the pwer is turned n the LED display reads all 8. The instrument starts the initial prgram with a beep. Press the UP r DOWN arrw f speed key. The mst recent running speed is displayed. Example: The mst recent running speed is 200 rpm. The last digit will flicker. Press the UP r DOWN arrw f speed key t adjust the speed. Hlding dwn the key increases r decreases the speed quickly. Example: t set the speed t 250 rpm, Hld dwn the key until speed value displays 250, then release the UP r DOWN arrw key. The instrument cnfirms and saves the setting value f 250. 2. Press the UP r DOWN arrw key f time. It displays the mst recent time settting. Example: if the mst recent time setting is 35 minutes the display reads 00:35. The last digit will flicker. Press the UP r DOWN arrw key f time t adjust the timing value. Hld the key t increase r decrease the value quickly. Example: t set the timing at 1hur 20 minutes, press the UP arrw until the time value displays 01:20, release the UP arrw key. The instrument cnfirms and saves the setting value 01:20. NOTICE: If the timing value displays 00:00 this means the running timing is nging. Stp / Start 1. Press start/stp key t start r stp the prgram. 2. Press start/stp t run the prgram after speed and timing are set. When the time is up the instrument stps running and an alert sunds. 3. Press stp/start t stp the running prgram. 4. When the prgram cmpletes, r the prgram is stpped by pressing stp/start key, the Page 6 f 7
instrument will be in ready mde. In ready mde, press the UP r DOWN arrw f speed key r timing key t reset speed and timing. 5. Press start/stp withut adjusting speed r timing in ready mde, the instrument will perate the prgram as mst recent setting.
