Trim the tear strip from the 12 x12 sheet of Poison (green skull) paper. Save tear strip (It will be used later on the Mwa-ha-ha card). This is the layout base. 2. Trim a 12 x3 strip of Cauldron (purple dotted) and adhere horizontally across the top of the page. 3. Trim a 10 x2 strip of Reaper (green solid) and adhere horizontally along the bottom edge of the purple dotted paper so that it is centered left to right. 4. Trim a 10 x7 piece of Screech (purple solid) and adhere horizontally so that it is flush with the bottom edge of the green strip and centered left to right. 5. Trim a 12 x¼ strip of Witches Brew (striped) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere horizontally along the bottom edge of the purple dotted strip so it overlaps the green solid.

6. Using a scallop border punch, punch a 12 x¼ strip of Dracula (orange solid) and adhere scallops down along the bottom edge of the striped strip. 7. Locate Witch in Full Moon sticker from element sticker sheet and adhere in the green strip, ½ from the left edge so that the bottom of the circle just touches the bottom of the striped strip. 8. Using a black(on the white) and white pen (on the green) and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the bottom of the moon sticker so that it extends along the bottom of the green strip. 9. Spell the word just with green alphabet stickers along the witch s broom. Adhere JACK with purple chipboard alpha stickers along the dashed line after just as shown. 10. Using a paper piercer, punch a hole and then adhere a small orange glazed brad as the period after just JACK. 11. Adhere the first 2½ x3½ photo under the orange scalloped strip ½ from the left edge of the purple block as shown. 12. Adhere the second 2½ x3½ photo under the orange scalloped strip ½ from the right side of the purple block as shown and its top edge is in line with the first photo. 13. Adhere the 3½ x5 photo centered in between the first two photos so that the top edges of all the photos line up. 14. Trim a 2½ x2½ square of Tombstone (black polka dotted). Adhere 1/8 under the left photo. 15. Trim a 2½ x2½ square of Mummy (cream solid). Add journaling with black journaling pen and adhere 1/8 under the right photo as shown. 16. Using a black(on the white) and white pen (on the purple) and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the bottom of the cream journaling block so that it extends to black dotted block as shown. 17. Locate pumpkin sticker and small skull sticker from element sticker sheet. Adhere the pumpkin at the bottom left corner of the cream journaling block with the skull just overlapping it. 18. Locate a vine sticker from element sticker sheet and adhere along the pumpkin as shown. 19. Add the four corner stickers from the element sticker sheet to the top two corners of the green strip and to the bottom two corners of the purple block. *Halloween that Wasn t*: 24 x12 double 1. Locate two of the 12 x12 white sheets of cardstock to use as the layout base and place them side by side to make a 24 x12 spread. 2. Trim two 12 x5 strips of Haunted Forest (black solid). Adhere one strip horizontally across the top of each of the white cardstock sheets. 3. Trim two 12 x1 strips of Tombstone (black dotted). Adhere one strip horizontally underneath each of the black solid strips. 4. Trim piece of Bats (green web) into two 12 x6 strips, then adhere one strip horizontally underneath each of the black dotted strips. 5. Locate the piece of Spiders Web (orange bats). LEAVING THE TEAR STRIP ON, cut the sheet in half into two 12 x6¼ strips. Trim one sheet to 9½ x6¼ and the other to 9 x6¼. 6. Turn the strips horizontally, black side up. Using a ruler and a pencil, draw a line ¼ up from the bottom of each strip. Use a 1 8 hole punch to punch evenly spaced holes along this line on both strips. Take fine-tipped scissors and from the bottom, cut up into each hole to create a notebook edge. 7. Turn strips back over, orange bats up, and adhere the 9½ x6¼ horizontally with frayed edge down to the left page 3½ from the top and flush with the center seam. Adhere the 9 x6¼ strip in the same manner to the right page. 8. Trim two 12 x4 strips of Mummy (cream). Trim one strip to 8½ x4 and the other to 7½ x4. Save the scraps for later use. 9. Adhere the 8½ x4 strip horizontally to the left page so that it is ½ up from the bottom of the orange bat strip and is flush with the center seam. Adhere the 7½ x4 in the same manner to the right page. pg 2

10. Trim two 12 x1/8 strips of Witches Brew against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. 11. Adhere one strip across the bottom of each cream strip as shown, trimming off the extra. 12. Using a black pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line in the cream section along the top edge of the striped strip. 13. Adhere one vertical 4 x6 photo to the right page so that it is flush with the center seam and 2½ down from the top of the page. 14. Adhere another vertical 4 x6 photo to the right page 1/8 to the right of the first photo. 15. Adhere the remaining vertical 4 x6 photo to the left page 1/8 from the center seam and 2½ down from the top of the page. 16. Adhere the 3 x3 photo 1/8 to the left of the photo in step 14 with their top edges in line. 17. Punch a 3 circle and a 2 circle out of the cream scraps in step 8. 18. Adhere the 3 circle to the left page in the upper left as shown. Adhere the 2 circle to the right page at the bottom right corner of the right-most photo as shown. 19. Trim two 3 x½ strip of Cauldron (purple dotted). Overlap the two strips to form a right angle, then trim from inside corner to outside corner using fine-tipped scissors. Angle the two remaining corners as shown and then adhere at the upper right corner of the rightmost photo on the right page. 20. Using a white pen and a ruler, draw two dashed lines along the bottom of the photo corner on the right page and extending along the top of the photos as shown. Add another dashed line vertically along the right side of the right photo. 21. Locate the haunted house sticker from the element sheet. Using a paper piercer, poke a hole and then adhere a large purple glazed brad through the top center window then adhere to the 3 cream circle on the left page using dimensional dots. 22. Add purple bat sticker from element sheet just above the haunted house as shown. 23. Adhere the black dotted bat sticker from the element sheet just above the purple bat using dimensional dots. 24. Locate the final black bat sticker from the element sheet and adhere it to the 2 circle on the right page using dimensional dots. 25. Using the green chipboard alphabet stickers, spell wasn t in the cream space on the left page so that the letters are in line with the bottom of the photo. 26. Using black alphabet stickers, spell Halloween just above the wasn t, using the black moon sticker adhered with dimensional dots from the element sticker sheet for the o. 27. Using a ½ circle punch, punch a cream circle. Do the same with a ¾ circle punch for a black circle. Layer the cream on the black, then using a black pen spell that in the center of the cream circle. 28. Adhere combined circle using dimensional dots to the left of the word wasn t. 29. Add journaling with black pen above the word Halloween as shown. CARDS general instructions/ 1. Locate the two remaining pieces of white cardstock. 2. Trim a 2 x12 strip off one sheet to make it measure 10 x12. 3. Turn the 10 x12 horizontally and cut into a 5 x10 strip and a 7 x10 strip. Fold each strip in half to make a 5 x5 card base and a 5 x7 card base. 4. Trim down 12 x12 sheet to 8 x10. Cut this 8 x10 piece horizontally to create two 8 x5 pieces. Fold both of these pieces in half to form two 4 x5 card bases. Boo card: 5 x5 opens from bottom/ 1. Locate a 5 x5 card base. 2. Trim a piece of Reaper (green solid) to 5 x5. Adhere to the front of the card base. 3. Round all bottom corners with a corner rounder. 4. Trim a 5 x3½ piece of Cauldron (purple dotted). Adhere piece horizontally across the card ¾ down from the top. 5. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the top and bottom edge of the purple dotted piece. 6. Trim a 5 x1½ strip of Witches Brew (striped) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere across the card so it is centered top to bottom within the purple block. 7. Using a lace border punch (or any decorative border punch), punch a 5 x¼ strip of Dracula (orange solid). Adhere strip along the bottom of the purple block as shown. 8. Trim a 2 x¾ strip of Mummy (cream). Locate orange Boo from olio rub-on sheet. Apply rub-on to strip ¼ from the left edge. Round the left corners with fine-tipped scissors, then adhere strip horizontally so that it overlaps the bottom of the striped strip and is ½ from the left edge as shown. 9. Punch a 2½ circle out of green solid and a 2 circle out of cream solid. Layer the cream circle centered on the green. 10. Using a black journaling pen, draw a dashed line around the perimeter of the cream circle then adhere the combined circle ½ from the right side and centered over the striped strip. pg 3

11. Apply skull rub-on from the olio sheet onto a piece of cream solid and cut out. Adhere to the center of the cream circle using dimensional dots. 12. Finish card with orange and purple flower stickers as shown. Cat in the Moon card: 4 x5 vertical/ 1. Locate the 4 x5 card base. 2. Trim a 4 x5 piece of Screech (purple solid) and adhere to the front of the card. 3. Trim a 1½ x4¾ strip of Reaper (green solid). Use a decorative border punch down one long side. Adhere vertically with the decorative edge at the left 1/8 from the left side of the card and centered top to bottom. 4. Trim a 2½ x4¾ piece of Tombstone (black dotted). Adhere to card 1/8 from the right of the card and centered top to bottom. (It will overlap the green.) 5. Trim a ¼ x4¾ strip of Witches Brew (striped) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Adhere vertically 1/8 from the left edge of the dotted piece. 6. Trim a 2 x3½ block of Dracula (orange solid). Snip off the top two corners and punch a hole between them to form a tag. Adhere tag horizontally (hole at the left) so it is ½ up from the bottom of the card. 7. Punch a 2 circle from the Mummy (cream solid). Apply black cat rub-on from olio sheet to the cream circle. Adhere circle to the right of the tag using dimensional dots as shown. 8. Locate vine sticker from element sheet. Cut sticker in half and adhere along the bottom of the tag. Add small flower stickers as desired. Trick or Treat card: 4 x5 horizontal 1. Locate a 4 x5 card base. Turn card horizontally so it opens from the bottom. 2. Trim a 5 x4 block of Dracula (orange solid). Adhere to the front of the card. 3. Round all bottom corners. 4. Trim a 3½ x4 piece of Witches Brew (cream dotted). Adhere down the center of the card. 5. Trim a ¼ x8 strip of Witches Brew (striped) against the grain so there are more stripes per strip. Cut strip into two ¼ x4 pieces. Adhere one vertically to each side of the cream dotted piece. 6. Using a scallop border punch (or other decorative border punch), trim a ¼ x8 piece of Haunted Forest (black solid). Cut strip into two ¼ x4 pieces. Adhere one vertically to each side of the card along the striped strips as shown. 7. Trim half a 3 circle out of the black solid. Using a white opaque pen, draw a dashed line along the curved edge. Adhere to the card in the cream dotted section 1 down from the top and centered left to right. 8. Trim a 4 x1¼ strip of Reaper (green solid) and a 4 x1 strip of Mummy (cream solid). Layer the cream strip onto the green strip. 9. Adhere strip horizontally across the card so that it is ½ up from the bottom and fits between the black scalloped strips. 10. Locate trick-or-treat rub-on from olio sheet. Apply to the cream strip as shown. 11. Locate four candy corn stickers from element sheet. Adhere corn stickers to card as shown, using some dimensional dots to raise them if desired. Mwa-ha-ha card: 5 x7 vertical 1. Locate a 5 x7 card base. 2. Trim a 5 x2 strip of Creepy (white web). Adhere horizontally across the top of the card. 3. Trim a 5 x5 square of Cauldron (purple dotted) and adhere at the bottom of the card. 4. Trim a 2 x3 block of Mummy (cream solid). Round the bottom two corners. 5. Locate the Mwa-ha-ha rub-on from Olio sheet and apply to cream block as shown. pg 4

6. Trim the drips from the word Creepy on olio sheet and add to Mwa-ha-ha as desired. Add Olio spiders as desired. 7. Adhere cream Mwa-ha-ha block to the card ½ from the right side and 1½ up from the bottom. 8. Using a scallop border punch, trim a 5 x¾ strip of Reaper (green solid) and adhere horizontally across the card, scallops down so that its straight edge is flush with the bottom of the white web strip. Locate web sticker from element sticker sheet and adhere to the left of the cream Mwa-ha-ha block as shown. Add spider sticker from element sheet to the web using dimensional dots. Trim a 5 piece from the tear strip of Poison (purple starred). Adhere to the card using dimensional dots so that its bottom edge if flush with the top of the green strip. Halloween BOO Banner General Prep Instructions: 1. Coat B, O and O letters from element sticker sheet with Glossy Accents and let dry (optional). Give a second coat if needed. 2. Cut out flag template from.pdf file and trace five times onto medium-weight chipboard. Cut out the five chipboard banners. 3. Locate the skull label shape, the scalloped oval shape and the large journaling block from the Take Note package. Adhere these onto the medium-weight chipboard and then cut out. 4. Cover the front of two flags with Jack-o-lantern (brown web) and set aside. 5. Cover the front of another flag with Evil Eye (orange/green harlequin), another with Witches Brew (cream dotted) and the final one with Scary Cat (orange skulls). Set aside. 6. Trim two 1¼ x12 strips of Scary Cat and one of Beware (green skulls). Fold all three strips vertically in a fan-like fashion with the folds ¼ wide. Once folded, secure the two ends of the strip together and shape into a full-circle fan. Hot glue in the center helps secure the shape easily. Flag 1: Candy Corn Flag 1. Locate one of the brown web flag. 2. With the point down, punch a hole in the top two angles. 3. Punch a 1 circle from Reaper (green solid). Adhere ½ down from the top of the flag and ¼ from the left. 4. Using a scallop border punch, trim a 4 x¾ strip of Tombstone (black dotted). Adhere scallops down along the top of the flag. Repunch 5. Locate two candy corn stickers from element sticker sheet. Add one to the green circle and then add the other using dimensional dots. 6. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw two dashed lines along the top of the black dotted strip as shown. Set flag aside for assembly later. Flag 2: Skull Label 1. Locate bat label rub-on from olio sheet. Apply to the bottom center of the label sheet as shown. 2. Locate purple skull rub-on from the olio sheet. Apply to the top center of the label sheet. 3. Cut a 2 ¾ piece of bat border sticker from element sticker sheet and adhere horizontally across the label, just above the bat rub-on. 4. Locate vine rub-on and apply in pieces to resemble a floral spray as shown. 5. Add black skull sticker from element sticker sheet to the center of the bat border sticker using a dimensional dot. Set aside label for later assembly. pg 5

Flag 3: B Trick or Treat Flag 1. Locate the Evil Eye (harlequin) flag. 2. With the point down, punch a hole in the top two angles. 3. Using a scallop border punch, trim a 4 x¾ strip of Reaper (green solid). Adhere scallops down along the top of the flag. Re-punch 4. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw two dashed lines along the top of the green strip as shown. 5. Add a bat postage stamp toward the top middle of the flag. Add trick-or-treat postage stamp to the right of the bat stamp using dimensional dots. 6. Add small purple star sticker in the upper right corner of the bat stamp. Add larger purple star sticker at the bottom of the flag. Use a paper piercer to punch hole in the center and secure with small orange glazed brad. 7. Adhere an orange skull fan (from General Prep Step 6) to the center of the flag. 8. Add (dried) B sticker to the center of the orange skull fan. Set aside for later assembly. Flag 4: Rectangle O Flag 1. Trace the shape of the large rectangle label onto sheet of Beware (green skulls). Cut out and set aside. 2. Locate the Witches Brew (cream dotted) flag. Adhere flag so that it is flush with the top of the large rectangle label and centered left to right. 3. With the point down, punch a hole in the top two angles, through the rectangle label. 4. Using a scallop border punch, trim a 4 x¾ strip of Tombstone (black dotted). Adhere scallops down along the top of the flag. Repunch 5. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line along the top of the black dotted strip as shown. 6. Using a black pen and a ruler, draw a dashed line along both edges of the flag shape. 7. Apply orange web rub-on to the bottom of the flag. 8. Adhere white starred glazed brad just below the point of the flag as shown. 9. Locate green banner sticker from element sheet. Split sticker in half and adhere one piece to each side of the flag shape as shown. It will extend beyond the rectangle shape as well. 10. Add green lightning bolt sticker along the upper right edge of the flag shape. 11. Adhere a black lightning bolt fan (from General Prep Step 6) to the center of the flag shape. 12. Add (dried) purple O sticker to center of the black fan. 13. Add a couple of flower stickers to the top of the flag. 14. Trim a 4 x¾ strip of Dracula (orange solid). Adhere strip scallops down with the orange side up to the backside of the bottom of the rectangle as shown. 15. Using fine-tipped scissors, trim up into the scallop strip from the bottom to create a fringe. Ruffle edge. 16. Adhere the sheet of green skulls cut in Step 1 to the back of the original rectangle. Set aside for later assembly. Flag 5: Spider O Flag 1. Locate the Scary Cat (orange skull) flag. 2. With the point down, punch a hole in the top two angles. 3. Using a scallop border punch, trim a 4 x¾ strip of Beware (brown solid). Adhere scallops down along the top of the flag. Re-punch 4. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw two dashed lines along the top of the brown strip as shown. 5. Add black web rub-ons to the flag point and at the top of the flag. 6. Adhere a green skull fan (from General Prep Step 6) to the center of the flag. pg 6

7. Add (dried) orange O sticker to the center of the green skull fan. 8. Add purple star sticker at the bottom of the flag. Use a paper piercer to punch hole in the center and secure with small white glazed brad. 9. Add white spider sticker to the top of the flag. Add green spider sticker using dimensional dots to the left of the first spider sticker. Set flag aside for later assembly. Flag 6: Oval Spooky Flag 1. Turn oval so it is vertical. Punch a hole ½ from each edge and 1 from the top. 2. Locate cat label sticker from element sheet and adhere along the bottom of the oval 1 up from the bottom. 3. Trim y from spooky rub-on and apply Spook just above the green cat label as shown. 4. Add portion of vine rub-on & flower rub-ons to the o in Spook as shown. 5. Adhere Scaredy-Cat sticker from element sticker sheet at the bottom right of the cat label sticker. 6. Adhere skull postage stamp sticker using dimensional dots to the left of the Scaredy-cat sticker as shown. 7. Add a few miscellaneous flower stickers to flag as shown, then set aside for later assembly. 6. Locate Spider stamp sticker and candy corn sticker from element sticker sheet. Add spider stamp to the left green circle and then add candy corn to the green circle, overlapping the stamp. Set flag aside for assembly later. Assembly Instructions: 1. Lay out the flags in the order they were made. 2. Tie a black ribbon to the left hole of flag 1 to hang. 3. Lay left hole of flag 2 over the right hole of flag 1 and secure with green glazed brad. 4. Lay right hole of flag 2 over the left hole of flag 3 and secure with striped glazed brad. 5. Lay left hole of flag 4 over the right hole of flag 3 and secure with orange glazed brad. 6. Lay right hole of flag 4 over the left hole of flag 5 and secure with black glazed brad. 7. Lay left hole of flag 6 over the right hole of flag 5 and secure with white dotted glazed brad. 8. Lay right hole of flag 6 over the left hole of flag 7 and secure with brown bat glazed brad. 9. Tie a black ribbon to the right hole of flag 7 to hang. Flag 7: Candy Corn Flag 1. Locate the remaining brown web flag. 2. With the point down, punch a hole in the top two angles. 3. Punch a 1 circle from Reaper (green solid). Adhere ½ down from the top of the flag and overlapping the right edge. 4. Using a scallop border punch, trim a 4 x¾ strip of Tombstone (black dotted). Adhere scallops down along the top of the flag. Repunch 5. Using a white opaque pen and a ruler, draw two dashed lines along the top of the black dotted strip as shown. pg 7
