Paper Snips Non-Stampin Up Accessories: 3M Scotch Mounting Tape Assembly Instructions: 1. Cut the Lost Lagoon card stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Score at 4 1/4, fold and burnish with a Bone Folder. 2. Cut the Lost Lagoon In-Color Backgrounds DSP to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and attach to the front with Tombow Mono Adhesive. Line up the left top and side, working down and out for a perfectly aligned piece. Trim any over-hang with Paper Snips. 3. Cut two pieces of Whisper White card stock to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. With pieces aligned one on top of the other, create your angled piece with the Stampin Trimmer; cut from the upper right corner at a pleasing angle. Now cut on an angle from the lower left side down to meet the first cut. Cutting both pieces at the same time will ensure they are exactly the same size. Refer to the template provided as a guide. 4. On one piece of Whisper White, cut out a star shape using either the template and a craft knife or the 3 7/8 Star Framelits Die (#4 counting from the inside out). If using the Star Framelit, the dimensions are slightly different from the template, so you will need to make the necessary adjustments for proper placement. 5. Now that you have cut the star, stamp your desired greeting on the front in Blackberry Bliss on the front lower corner. Align to the angle. 6. Using the Confetti Star Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Star Punch and the template, punch and cut stars from Blackberry Bliss, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon, Orchid Opulence and Perfect Plum. 7. Cut a section of the Window Sheet large enough to cover the star opening with at least a 1/4 overhang. Attach to the back of the Whisper White panel over the star with Score Tape. Don t use Tombow or Glossy Accents here as it will affect the appearance of front of the Whisper White. The important thing is to ensure a secure attachment. Trim any excess hanging over the edge of the Whisper White. Note: Be careful not to get any adhesive on the window sheet as it will show. 8. Now cut a star frame out of Lost Lagoon using the 3 7/8 and the 2 7/8 Star Framelit Dies. Again the sizing is different from the template so the size of the opening will be slightly smaller. Attach to
the front of the Whisper White panel over the star opening with Tombow Mono Adhesive. 9. Using the Heavy Duty Mounting Tape, cut thin strips (about 1/8 ) and line them around the back of the star, right at the edge of the cut star area. Be sure not to leave any open spaces. Now place pieces of Mounting Tape in key spots on the rest of the card back. 10. With the front of the Whisper White panel facing down, place the multi colored and sized stars inside the shaker frame, flattened and well away from the sides. 11. Remove the protective covering from the Mounting Tape and align the second piece of Whisper White on top. 12. Apply Tombow Mono Adhesive generously over the back of the shaker and attach to the front of the card, aligning with the left top and side. 13. Attach the multi-colored and sized stars in a random pattern, referring to the image for suggestions on placement. 14. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 5 1/4 x 4 and stamp your desired sentiment in Blackberry Bliss. Place multi-colored and sized stars in a random pattern around the sentiment. Attach sentiment to inside of card with Tombow Mono Adhesive. 15. Decorate your envelope with any star themed stamp set you have on hand or use the negative image from the Confetti Star Punch and sponge color onto your envelope. 16. Enjoy your card! Try one of these ideas: Add a little bling inside the shaker with the stars use sequins or seed beads. Or punch Gold or Silver Foil Paper with the Confetti Star Punch and add them to the mix, both in the shaker and on the front. Apply VersaMark to the top of the Lost Lagoon star and emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.
