During power-on, is assered when he supply volage ( ) becomes higher han.75 V. Thereafer, he supply volage supervisor moniors and keeps oupu acive as long as remains below he hreshold volage (V IT ). An inernal imer delays he reurn of he oupu o he inacive sae (high) o ensure proper sysem rese. The delay ime, d = 8 ms, sars afer has risen above he hreshold volage (V IT ). When he supply volage drops below he hreshold volage (V IT ), he oupu becomes acive (low) again. No exernal componens are required. All he devices of his family have a fixed-sense hreshold volage (V IT ) se by a high precision inernal volage divider. The TPS/5/6/8 devices incorporae a manual rese inpu, MR. A low level a MR causes o become acive. The TPS4 devices do no have he inpu MR, bu include a high-level oupu same as he TPS5 and TPS6 devices. In addiion, he TPS/4/8 have a wachdog imer ha needs o be riggered periodically by a posiive or negaive ransiion a WDI.
