Exploring Technology Final Evaluation The CO 2 Dragster SITUATION BCI Racing is developing a new drag car to add to their successful racing team. You have been asked to design and build a new race car prototype. If your design is chosen you will work closely with BCI Racing in the development of their new car. CHALLENGE You will design and build a CO2 powered dragster within the given limitations. The dragster will compete in head to head racing against fellow students for a maximum of 2 runs. The dragster with the best time that meets all the specifications will be the winner! CHALLENGE CRITERIA AND CONSTRAINTS 1. All cars must have 4 wheels. 2. Only the supplied materials may be used in the design and building of the CO2 powered car 3. No fenders, canopies, exhaust or air foils may be added 4. Refer to specification sheet for complete design specs. 5. All dragsters will be able to run but only those that meet all the specifications will be considered for the competition. 6. No additional or replacement parts available. You must work with the original parts; any lost or damaged parts are the responsibility of the student.
