Benchmark One: Cmmitment t a Clear Visin and Implementatin Strategies Gals A missin and visin statement has been develped and created by the District Technlgy Team. Gals were set accrding t each f the benchmarks. Technlgy Cmmittee The Mnsn Public Schls assembled a Technlgy Cmmittee that includes representatin frm administratin, teachers and staff. Needs Assessment Technlgy Cmmittee members were brken int pairs, and each pair was assigned a benchmark. Tgether they infrmally and frmally assessed the technlgy needs f the district. A survey was sent electrnically t all district staff regarding hardware, sftware, their level f technlgy interest and knwledge, as well as its impact n teaching and learning. Results were cmpiled by Lri St. Marie, Administrative Assistant t the Technlgy Specialist. In additin, a survey was distributed t the special educatin staff regarding assistive technlgy. Results were cmpiled by Suzanne Mrneau, Directr f Pupil Services. Tdd Schubach, Technlgy Specialist, held multiple meetings with representatives frm CMD Technlgy, the district s technlgy cnsultant, regarding bth current hardware and future hardware needs. Budget The District recgnizes the imprtance f funding technlgy t the best f its ability; mnies fr technlgy initiatives largely cme frm Schl Chice revenue. Additinally, the Twn has prvided the District with hardware frm its capital accunt. The Mnsn Public Schls technlgy budget includes expenditures fr staffing, cntracted services, infrastructure, hardware, sftware applicatins and supprt.
