Turnout at the meeting was light, but given the amount of energy expended holding the contest that was OK! Our November meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 14 th from 2 4 pm at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 4600 Erie Avenue, Madisonville, Ohio 45227. The CSM regularly meets the 2nd Sunday of each month. Raffle & Door Prizes We ll have a mystery raffle this month due to our low kit stock and besides Halloween is coming. It s a mysteryyyy BOO!!! Wants & Disposals - If you have a want or a disposal, please call (513) 489-5387, or send email to: rschorry@cinci.rr.com - I am looking for 1:72 US Marine figures Korean War Dave Reed - reed.dw@pg.com Membership Renewal & New Members Annual Cincinnati Scale Modelers membership fees are $15. If you are a club member and have not renewed this please see Mike Bailey or Tom Bebout and ask them if they are willing to take your money for another fun year. IPMS/USA national membership fees are $25 a year and include the IPMS/USA Journal. See www.ipmsusa.org for details. Two new guys appeared! Jim Quinn (likes ships and wood models) and Jim Hill (armor). Welcome! Kits for Iraq and Afghanistan We collect and donate model kits and building supplies to service members in Iraq and Afghanistan. They re not on duty 24/7 and building models gives them a little downtime. Please make kit or any supply donations to Mike Bailey. CSM 2010 Contest after Action Report by Don Flynn We had 92 contest entrants, about 350 models on the tables, and about 280 general admissions. About 100 fewer than last year, but we had 80+ vendor tables sold. We also had 16 young modelers at the Make N Take. Overall, a bit smaller than last year but another great Saturday thanks to all who volunteered! And we did better than break even 1

In a few cases we had fewer than three models in a category and (due to an oversight on my part, says Rob Schorry) we did not combine those with another grouping, which is not like earlier years. 5
