Tips to Staying Motivated & Productive All Summer Long

November Marketing Tips New Gift Box Bundles These special album bundles arrive in an elegant gift box ready to use with printed photos. o Baby Girl o Baby Boy o Wedding o Christmas These are perfectly timed for the gift-giving season: o For the non-scrapbooker celebrating important life events. o For those with a new baby. o For those newly married or celebrating an anniversary. o For holiday cards, that first Christmas together or to celebrate and remember special photos from Christmas past. Order one bundle that will work for someone on your own nice list to use for displays at November and early December events. Print flyers and email customers about the four options for everyone on their gift lists including families with new babies, newly married and for a special Christmas gift. Include the video and encourage customers to share the link, too. https://youtu.be/y4iiuhm6scu Promote: o Convenience o Elegant and classy presentation o Complete gift with everything needed to for a finished album Offer customers a bonus (free workshop time, a special gift, etc.) if anyone they know purchases a bundle from you in November or December. Christmas Past Collection This nature-inspired collection is perfect for indoor and outdoor holiday photos. The colors and patterns will go with photos from a day in the snow to family gatherings and everything that makes holidays special. Paper Pack coordinates well with Beige and Evergreen Cardstock colors and of course the new Shimmer Cardstock. Christmas Past includes Paper Pack, Stickers, Embellishments, Variety Mat Pack, Fast2Fab and a bookcloth Album Cover. You

can see the full Collection in this video: https://youtu.be/n5qj5-asem0 The new Gift Box Bundle is also available for Christmas Past and includes the Fast2Fab. There are TWO great options to leverage the newest Christmas Past Collection. Option #1: use the double-page layout Project Recipe that includes new Gold Shimmer Cardstock and the Snowflake Chain Border Maker Cartridge to create great layouts at all upcoming November and December events. Project Recipes found in Back Office, Marketing tips. Option #2: Cards & Tags Project Recipe creates 10 cards and 10 tags. This project can be divided to share as a gift at events with ONE tag and ONE card per person, pre-cut and ready to assemble as a sample/thank you gift. BOTH options available to create kits to share at a crop or even a separate class with beginners and experienced Crafters. Fun for everyone including the kids! o Print the Project Recipes, check the ingredients list and order products required using the Advisor Guide to help you. o Create samples to display to inspire holiday orders using recipes with Christmas Past collection. Consider option to offer a Free Class Pass for upcoming events. o Offer a card and tag complementary with the option to purchase the Card and Tag Kit or products ready to go in a kit to create other Project Recipes. o Great way to encourage those new to CM to stop-by and take a look, share in a tactile experience and learn more. New Gold and Silver Shimmer Cardstock Just in time for the holiday season these shimmer and shine so order plenty to have available at events. The weight of the Shimmer Cardstock is perfect for borders and to use with punches. Included in the 2-page spread Project Recipe for Christmas Past and complements superbly.

New Border Maker cartridge and new punch The New Christmas Quartet punch creates four adorable shapes that will enhance any card, border or page. This versatile punch creates a tree, candy cane, gingerbread man and snowflake customers will find many uses for these shapes way beyond the holidays as both a border and for embellishments. New Snowflake Chain Star Border Maker cartridge has many uses and is going to make scrapbookers and card makers happy! It is a must-have for every collection and is used in the Christmas Past Project Recipe. It s easy to add embellishments and layer with other cartridge shapes. Spread the news Add to displays with new border ideas and include flyers so customers easily identify new product names for easy ordering. Open House Events, Classes and Parties -- Keep it simple and have fun! It s the best time of the year to host an Open House or Product Preview Event. Everyone appreciates the opportunity to see new products, pick up gifts and enjoy some holiday cheer. o For people buying holiday gifts at your event, offer to wrap with cellophane and curly ribbon or pretty wrapping paper while they sip cider, egg nog or mulled wine. o Remember that for some the holiday season isn t easy and we can make a difference offering an event even a couple of extra-short crops where we work on our own projects. o We can take the time to help others feel appreciated and offer friendship. o We can offer ways to help people stay connected during the season and celebrate what s important. Customers might like to host their own event with friends! o Offer a Christmas Card and Tag Class or a scrapbook page party with Project Recipes using Christmas Past Products. o Call it a party or a class. o Enjoy a fun evening crafting and creating with friends. o Invite anyone new to CM and those you haven t seen in a while. o Offer a percentage from sales for anyone that hosts an event and perhaps a small booking gift.

Advisor Crop Time Events These can be a one-day event or an evening event with a few hours designated for brainstorming marketing ideas and playing with new Project Recipe layouts. Create samples for displays while working with new products. For November Crop Time Events, create a two-page layout and the cards & tags with new Christmas Past products using the Project Recipes found in Marketing Tools in back office. For more information on Advisor Crop Time Events contact Diane Lampert, dlampert@creativememories.com Brainstorm ideas to kick-start your November and December CM events! What you will make time for and what do you want to fit in? Does an open house, class or crop work for you? Does the opportunity to create additional income with extra events interest you? What makes the holidays special is spending time together with friends and family. o We offer time that is relaxed and fun at CM events. o We can offer to meet a friend for coffee or lunch and share new CM products. o We can change someone s day or week or month by offering an invitation. Once the events are scheduled keep the planning simple: Theme - Holiday Food Traditional Treats Decorations It won t matter if the house is decorated. November events and early December events work for shoppers and they are happy to be invited and included. Displays Focus on what you have already and add a few new borders with new cartridges and punches, use Project Recipes for October and November new product releases. Invitations Use a jpg postcard invitation for Christmas Past (found in Marketing Tools) and add information. Save and email and print as photo to hand-out to everyone you see. More tips for successful events Make sure everyone has a copy of upcoming November, December and January events not too early to include 2017 Events Calendar especially with Retreat dates. Take pre-registration for upcoming events.

Don t forget the Wish Lists Offer to contact the gift-givers for customers to make shopping as easy as a phone call with you. Offer gift-wrapping and delivery if possible. Set small tasks to prepare for events: Create a special list of customers you want to contact to share new product information and details for upcoming events Send a newsletter and invitation for holiday events to ALL customers to invite them to upcoming events and include information about new products. Remember message, text, email and phone call reminders during the week of the open house to remind everyone to stop in and encourage them to bring a friend. Can create a Facebook Live post from your open house event the day before and day of in customer group as a reminder and to create excitement. Consider challenges and competitions to inspire customers: Offer weekly challenges in customer FB group: o Share a group photo from past Thanksgiving or family gathering. Give a ticket into a draw for each photo shared. o Ask customers to share a photo tip that works for them. Give a ticket into a draw for each tip shared. o Ask customers how they are planning to document the holiday season. Give a ticket into a draw for every different photo suggestion like wrapping gifts, shopping, looking at lights, trimming the tree or baking. Offer a page challenge from one event to the next. o Could be one page a day or a week and bring completed pages to share at events. Offer timesaving tips to work on pages and encourage a few minutes to journal or sort and upload photos for printing each day. Your Feedback: What types of events will you make time for in November and December? What s the top tip you ll implement? What s an idea you would like to share? When is your next event scheduled? What s the theme?
