Revise locker size from 15 wide x 20 deep x 72 high to 12 wide x 18 deep x 72 high. Spec 2.1.3 calls for doors without pockets, yet spec 2.2.6 calls for pocket with hasp. Top of cisterns are to be elevation 277.15. Add the following general note: The contractor is solely responsible to determine the need for and design of any anti-flotation measures for the underground cisterns. The design shall include attachment details to the cisterns in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Contractor shall provide calculations confirming the need or not and drawings of anti-flotation system if determined that a system is required. The drawings and calculations shall be stamped by a Professional Engineer licensed in the Province of Ontario. The determination of the need for anti-flotation is to be made on the information available in the geotechnical report provided. 3.0 ELECTRICAL ADDENDUM 1. Electrical Addendum No. 02 Project: Town of Norwich Fire Station No. 3, Burgessville, Ontario Project No.: 16-167 Date: November 22, 2017 This Addendum forms part of the Contract Documents and is to be read, interpreted and coordinated with all other parts. The cost of all work contained herein shall be included in the Contract Sum. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original drawings and specifications issued for the above named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Contactor Inquiries: Is there to be under cabinet lighting? It is not shown on the lighting drawings, but there is a layout on drawing E701. No, there is no under cabinet lighting. Typical installation detail provided, refer to plans and specifications and provide and install devices and equipment outlined on plans, disregard any equipment shown on detail that is not identified on plans. The number of wall packs on E200 and E100 are different, which drawing should be referenced? Refer to Drawing E200 for quantities of building mounted exterior light fixtures. Is there a security system to be installed? I noticed door contacts on all exterior doors, and overhead doors. Are we to carry these? All door contacts (with the exception of the universal washroom door) have been deleted in this Addendum. See below. Should the wire for 1-UG400N be a parallel run? As per Wire and Conduit Schedule, the wiring is identified as a single run. Shall a contractor choose to run parallel feeders it can be done with a parallel run of 3 conductor #3/0 CU RWU90 feeders as per detail D11-2. Is there any cable tray required? Detail 5 on Drawing E700 is a standard mounting detail and may include items not indicated on plans. Disregard reference to cable trays as they are not used on this project. Who will be supplying ceiling fans, and what is the spec. for them? Ceiling fans in Truck Bays have been revised in this Addendum (see below). Ceiling fan will be supplied and installed by Division 23 with final power connection by Electrical Contractor. Variable speed controller for fan to be supplied and installed by Electrical Contractor. What are the keyed pump control panel power requirements? Keyed pump control panel is to control the pumps in cisterns for truck fill. The power requirements shall much the supplied pumps along with associated overcurrent protection device. Control panel is intended for control of the pumps. There is two different routes for secondary feeders and communication conduits one on E100 and one on E300. Which should be referenced? For clarification, reference Drawing E100 revision E for routing of secondary feeders and communication conduits. Are door push button stations, main control panel, and photo electric beams supplied by the door contractor, and what is the location of the main control panel? All components for overhead doors are to be supplied by door supplier. Electrical Contractor is to provide all required rough-in along with pull string to facilitate installation and final wiring of devices and equipment by others. Main Overhead Door Control Panel is to be located in Repairs 103 on furred out wall covering the column at gridline D-4. Drawing M101, note 10 refers to a duplex pump set SP-3a, b in chamber c/w flat switches and lift out rail system. Refer to drawing E100, this drawing does not show any power running to this pump. I believe the pump will need power and this should be shown on drawing E100 so electrical trades include this in their price. Electrical contractor shall ensure all addendums and latest drawings have been received for his bidding purposes. Refer to drawings revision E issued as part of Addendum 1. Drawing M101 note 2 and note 4 refer to pumps for the well and truck fill pump at the cistern. The electrical drawing E100 does not show power running to these pumps. Computer/Telecom Cabling System, under 5.6 Recommended Product Manufacturers we would like to have Leviton added as manufacturer for 5.6.1 Category 6 Twisted Pair Cable and 5.6.2 Computer Infrastructure Components. Refer to section 5.6 of the specifications on Drawings E050 and E051, and add the following as part of approved equal products; 1. Leviton extreme Cat 6 U/UTP Cables and Patch Cords 2. Leviton Patch Panels and computer infrastructure components. 3. Leviton P1000 series rack power distribution units. Leviton termination equipment along with associated wallplates.
