Making the Center Medallion Cut the two 1555-66 Ginkgo Green 10 ½" squares in half on the diagonal to make four triangles. Fold the long side of each triangle and the sides of the 1555-11 Ginkgo Blue 13 ¼" square in half matching corners and mark with a small fold. Match the centers of two triangles with the centers of two opposite sides of the square. Sew, then press toward the triangles. Trim the tips even with the sides. Repeat, sewing the remaining two triangles on the two opposite sides of the square. Trim the square to measure 18 ½", making sure to leave ¼" beyond the tip of each point. Making the Appliqué Pieces Following the instructions on pages 7 or 8 to make a full-size large floral template, either enlarge the template as shown, or create your own from the full-size quarter template. On the paper side of lightweight fusible web, trace 1 large petal, 24 small petals, 1 circle, and 4 half circles. Cut apart the shapes leaving about 1 8" around the drawn line. Tip: Cut out the inside of the fusible leaving about ½" to minimize the stiffness. Fuse the small petals according to the manufacturer s directions on the WRONG SIDE of the 1552-33 Orange Tonal, the large petals on the WRONG SIDE of the 1553-33 Dragonfly, and the circles on the WRONG SIDE of the 1555-33 Ginkgo Brown. Cut out each shape on the drawn line (cut the four large petals as one shape). Remove the paper. Fusible Web
