Father s Day Tool Box Gift Card Holder and Card Designed By: Michelle Ueligitone May 2010 A gift card holder and card for that special dad! Tool Box Instructions Score the 6 x 10 piece of Real Red card stock at 2 and 4 on the 6 side (shorter side). Turn and score at 3 and 7 on the 10 side. Along the 6 side, use a pencil and mark at 2-¾ and 3-¼. Flip to opposite side (6 side) and repeat.
Cut up on the 6 side at the 2 and 4 score lines to the 3 score line. Flip and repeat. Step 3 Pull the center flaps back on the 6 side and cut the outside flaps at 1. Repeat on the opposite side. Step 3
Step 4 Turn at an angle and cut from the 3 mark to the first pencil mark. Repeat on all four sides. Step 4 Step 5 Fold on all score lines and adhere sides using Sticky Strip. Step 5
Top of Tool Box Instructions Take the 4-¼ x 3-¾ piece of Real Red card stock and score at ½, 1-5/8, 2-1/8 and 3-¼ along the 3-¾ side. Fold on all score lines. Take the 2-¾ x ½ piece of Basic Black card stock and score at ½ and 1. Flip and repeat. Take the Tag Corner punch and insert the ends of the card stock half way in and punch (make sure not to put the card stock all the way into the punch, it will punch too much off).
Step 3 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere the handle to the center of the top. Take a Paper Piercer and pierce out two holes on each side of the handle. Insert a Clear rhinestone brad into each of these holes. Step 3 Step 4 Using a scrap piece of Basic Black card stock and the Round Tab punch, punch out one tab. Using the Paper Piercer, pierce a hole in the center of the tab and place a Clear rhinestone brad through it. Attach to the front of the top using Sticky Strip. Flip over the top and place Sticky Strip on one side and attach to lower part of box. Attach a Velcro Dot to keep tab shut. Step 4
Gift Card Holder Instructions Take the two 1-7/8 x 6 pieces of Real Red card stock and score at 1 and 5 along the 6 side. Fold on score lines. Take the Horizontal Slot punch and punch out the center of one of the 1-7/8 x 6 pieces of Real Red card stock (make sure to punch between the 1 score line and 5 score line).
Step 3 Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere the two pieces of card stock to the inside of the tool box, stacking them on top of one another (make sure the punched piece is on top). Card and Tool Embellishment Instructions Step 3 Using the Totally Tool stamp set and a Basic Black Stampin Pad, stamp out various tools on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. Color in using Real Red, Basic Black and Creamy Caramel Stampin Write markers. To achieve the gray color of the hammer, screw driver, and saw blade, use a Blender pen and a Basic Gray Classic Stampin Pad. Cut out images and adhere to tool box using Stampin Dimensionals.
Take the 5-½ x 8-½ piece of Real Red card stock and score at 4-¼ along the 8-½ side. Fold to make base of card. Stamp out Happy Father s Day from the All Holidays stamp set using both Real Red and Basic Black Classic Stampin Pads onto a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp the saw and sentiment using a Basic Black Classic Stampin Pad and cut out. Mat the sentiment and Happy Father s Day in either Real Red card stock or Basic Black card stock. Attach the 2-½ x 2-½ Whisper White card stock to the 2-¾ x 2-¾ Basic Black card stock using SNAIL adhesive. Attach to card. Adhere the saw and all the sentiments to card using Stampin Dimensionals.
