Be sure all vibratin surces are eliminated befre using the mnitr. Yu may experience false alarms fr several reasns. The mst cmmn reasn is the Nursery Unit has nt been turned OFF after yu have remved yur baby frm the crib. Anther reasn is the Sensr Pad has nt been placed under the mattress prperly. Be sure the Sensr Pad is n a flat, firm surface with the printed side facing up. The sensitivity level may als need t be adjusted. Refer t Step.. Always be sure t immediately check n baby whenever an alarm sunds..9 Sensr Pad - Yur Sensr Pad can be used in any crib that is statinary. If the crib has a spring r slat base, place a hard bard between the crib base and the Sensr Pad measuring at least x cm and 6 mm thick. Only use yur Angelcare mnitr in a statinary sleeping envirnment such as a crib where the Sensr Pad can rest n a cmpletely flat, firm surface. The sensr pad is made f plastic and des nt permit the air t circulate. Therefre, mildew build up culd develp underneath the mattress in the sensr pad area. We suggest rtating the mattress regularly t prevent any mildew. 6. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO USE OF BATTERIES 6. Use ONLY the type and size f batteries specified in the wner s manual. There is a risk f explsin if batteries are replaced with an incrrect type. 6. Use ONLY the enclsed lithium rechargeable battery and/r the adapter prvided fr the Parent Unit. DO NOT attempt t replace the battery r yu will severely damage the unit. 6. Charge the battery fr 9 hurs prir t first use. Be sure t have the mnitr in the OFF psitin during this perid. ONLY use the adapters included with yur mnitr. 6. DO NOT use these adapters with any ther equipments. 6. When unplugging the adapter frm the Nursery Unit, be sure it is switched t the OFF psitin. If it isn t, the unit will revert t battery mde if batteries are installed. 6.6 DO NOT use rechargeable batteries in the Nursery Unit. STEP - INSTALLING THE SENSOR PAD 6 Sensr Pad with pre-installed crd cvers. - SELECT A LOCATION FOR THE NURSERY UNIT Crd cvers,,, : Psitin n flr Crd cver : Cntains duble sided tape t securely install beneath crib leg Crd cver : Psitin vertically between mattress supprt and flr Crd cver 6: Place under the mattress Select a lcatin fr the Nursery Unit that is at least meter away frm the crib. 6 IMPORTANT Keep at least m. IMPORTANT Place the crib near a supprting wall and far frm air currents. Install the Nursery Unit n a flat, stable surface facing the crib at a distance f at least meter.
