Intrductin Getting the exact perfect expressin can be a chre. Either yu dn't have the expressin yu are lking fr r that expressin that lks s gd n Michael desn't lk s gd n Lucas. Expressin Mixer allws yu t easily create and discver new expressins by selectively mixing and randmizing expressin mrph-dials and strengths. With Expressin Mixer, it is easy t slightly tweak existing expressins r t create entire new expressins. It's a great way t gently randmize an expressin t give it that natural lk. And Expressin Mixer wrks with Genesis, Genesis 2, Genesis 3, and Genesis 8 Females and Males. Expand yur expressin library fr all Genesis generatins in minutes! Expressin Mixer uses a mixer-style frmat, with a maximum f 10 channels r slts. Select expressin mrphs fr each channel (including lading them frm the character's current expressin). Fr the channels that yu like their cntributin t the final expressin, lck that channel s that Expressin Mixer will nt change it. Click the Randmize buttn and Expressin Mixer will add randmly chsen expressin mrphs and strengths. Dn't like the result? Keep hitting Randmizatin, and tuning expressin slts' strengths until yu find the perfect new expressin. Expressin Mixer als prvides randmizatin grups (e.g., Randm All, Randm Brws, etc). These grups narrw its chices when randmizing. Cnstrain a channel t a certain randmizatin grup and Expressin Mixer will nly chse that type f expressin mrphs fr the channel. Expressin Mixer T use the Expressin Mixer script is easy. The main cncept f Expressin Mixer is that yu have 10 channels that can be assigned t expressin mrphs r be randmly chsen in rder t mix the expressin mrphs t create a final expressin. Expressin Mixer allws yu t select any expressin mrph in Daz Studi, frm basic mrphs such as Muth Smile t mre cmplex mrphs such as Happy HD, and assign them t a channel. Yu use sme channels t specify the base, r dminant, expressin and then Expressin Mixer can randmize the remaining channels and their strengths t find new expressins r subtly tweak the current expressin. If yu click the Lcked checkbx next t a channel, Expressin Mixer will lck that channel and nt verwrite the channel when yu randmize the expressin. Befre starting Expressin Mixer, it is recmmended that yu clear the expressins frm yur figure. If yu dn t, Expressin Mixer will add its expressin n tp f the current expressin which may nt be what yu want. Figure 1 - Expressin Mixer Dialg 1. Select yur Figure 2. Optinally, clear the figure s expressin 3. Zm the viewprt n the face. This will help yu see the expressins that are made (as lng as Live Preview is checked) 4. Duble-click n the Expressin Mixer icn t start the script and the dialg windw will appear. 5. By default, Expressin Mixer starts with 5 channels. T add r remve channels, drag the Number f Expressin Channels slider. 6. In the first expressin channel, click the dwn arrw next t Select Expressin Mrph. Select yur base expressin. Set the Strength and check the Lcked checkbx. The Lcked checkbx prevents Expressin Mixer frm verriding yur settings fr this channel when the Randmize buttn is clicked. 7. Fr the ther channels, yu can select a specific expressin mrph r select ne f the Randmizatin grups (Randm All, Randm Brw, Randm Cheeks and Jaw, Randm Expressins, Randm Eyes, Randm Muth, Randm Lips, Randm Tngue, Randm Nse). Yu can als use the Fill Unlcked Channels buttn t quickly fill all the unlcked channels with the same expressin mrph r Randmizatin grup. Expressin Mixer shuld lk like Figure 2. 4 P a g e
8. Click the Randmize buttn. Expressin Mixer will autmatically fill all Randm XXX channels with a randm expressin mrph frm that grup and with a randm Strength. If yu specified a specific expressin mrph, Expressin Mixer will nly randmize the strength f an unlcked channel. If Live Preview is n, yu will immediately see yur figure s expressin change based n the channels. 9. If yu like the values in a certain channel, click the Lcked checkbx t prevent Expressin Mixer frm changing it when yu click the Randmize buttn again. 10. Keep clicking Randmize, tweaking Strengths and lcking channels until yu find the expressin yu like. 11. Use the Expressin Intensity t dial up r dwn the strength f the verall expressin. 12. When yu find an expressin yu like, yu can click the Accept buttn t create yur expressin. 13. Buttns and Optins Strength Changes the strength f the expressin mrph in that channel. If the channel is unlcked, this value will change when the Randmize buttn is clicked. Lcked Check this bx if yu dn t want the channel t change when the Randmize buttn is clicked. Randm All, Randm Brw, Randm Cheeks and Jaw, Randm Expressins, Randm Eyes, Randm Muth, Randm Lips, Randm Tngue, Randm Nse Specifies a grup f expressin mrphs t pick frm when the Randmize buttn is clicked. Fill Unlcked Channels Click this buttn t fill all unlcked channels with the expressin mrph r randmizatin grup specified in the cmb bx t the left f the buttn. Fill Empty Channels Click this buttn t fill all empty channels (i.e., there is n value assigned t the channel and it just displays Select Expressin Mrph) with the expressin mrph r randmizatin grup specified in the cmb bx t the left f the Fill Unlcked Channels buttn. Fill Features Click this buttn t fill all unlcked and empty channels with each randmizatin grup in rder: Randm Brw, Randm Cheeks and Jaw, Randm Expressins, Randm Eyes, Randm Muth, Randm Lips, Randm Tngue, Randm Nse Number f Expressin Channels Adds r remves channels frm the dialg. Yu can have a minimum f 1 channel and a maximum f 10 channels. Randmize Fills all unlcked channels with randm strengths. If the channel has a Randmizatin grup assigned t it, Randmize will select an expressin mrph frm that grup t fill the channel (pressing Randmize again will change the expressin mrph again, frm the same grup). Reset Resets the dialg t its defaults. Reset Channels Resets the channels nly t their defaults. Exclude Third-Party Expressins Expressin Mixer will exclude expressin mrphs that are nt frm Daz. The mrphs will neither shw up in drp dwn lists nr be selected during randmizatin. Exclude Daz Expressins Expressin Mixer will exclude expressin mrphs that are frm Daz expressin mrph prducts (e.g., Fear HD, Happy HD, etc). The mrphs will neither shw up in drp dwn lists nr be selected during randmizatin. Filter - Specify a string that excludes any expressin mrphs that cntains the string. The filter is case sensitive. Multiple Filters can be specified by separating them by a semi-cln, e.g., Z LAM;A Lady will filter ut all expressin mrphs that cntain the string Z LAM r A Lady. Lad Expressin Mixer will attempt t lad the currently used expressin mrphs frm the figure, up t its maximum f 10 expressin mrphs. Save Preset - Saves the currently used expressin mrphs as an expressin preset that yu can use later. 6 P a g e
