Replaceable contacts The design utilizes contacts loaded into a removable frame which interface with surface pads on the pcb. Crosstalk Compensation Scheme The fundamental idea behind crosstalk compensation is to introduce a capacitive coupling effect between the differential pairs to enhance the crosstalk rejection performance. Test Fixture Overview - Reference Test Plug The reference test plug was created with a Tyco Electronics 8-position modular jack (p/n 5-569278- 3) and 3 unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) wire which is Category 5e verified. The results in Table 1 show that the reference test plug met or exceeded the TIA/EIA-568-B.2 requirements.
