Happy Dollars were collected by Susan Gingerich and she collected $278.00. Susan Gingerich was happy to see a full house of visitors. Ted Hasle was happy to have all our visiting guests and first responders with us. Sean Hasle was happy about his son s 5 th birthday and past party. Bob Bunn was happy to have his daughter Gerri Lee Bunn as his guest. Wayne Adkins was happy to jab some fun at the fire and rescue team. Wayne has been serving our community for 37 years. Mike McLain was happy about his new ergonomic desk provided by son John. Mike Sobel praised our first responders and our distinguished guests. Leila Moavero was happy to see so many men in uniform. Ray Doucette was thankful for the support from our first responders. Todd Moritz was proud to be part of Broward Health North. Toby Smith was sad about a back injury sustained from a horse riding incident. Toby was thankful and honored to support the Playground Project with a $1,000 donation and he is sponsoring a golf team as well for our upcoming event. Jay Ghanem was happy to have all our guests visiting. Catherine Selby has fond memories of the fire department helping her family as a child. Tom Johnston is proud of Pompano Beach and he reminded us that he was part of the Pompano Beach Police force back in 1964. Past District Governor Larry Herman was grateful to be part of such a great organization. Joanne Nelson was happy to announce a very generous donation of $10,000 to the Cleft Palate Project. Whitney Metevia was also very thankful for the generous gift to the Cleft Palate Project Announcements No Lunch next Friday on 2/24: Instead, we are being treated to a special Open Bar and Social provided to us by Gallupi s. Alex shared a golf joke with us and reminded all of us about our upcoming Golf Tournament being held on Friday April 21. Invite friends to play golf with us on that Friday and join us for fun, fellowship, prizes and so much more. Whitney raffled off a $50.00 Mr. Squeeky Car Wash Gift Card for the Cleft Palate Project and actually received a high bid of $100.00 from visiting Rotarian, Todd Moritz. Susan Gingerich reminded us that the Broward Outreach Playground Project is well underway and in need of donations. Please consider helping the less fortunate children in our community. This District project is planned for the Spring 2017. Mike McLain was honored today by Whitney for being our Sergeant of Arms.
