Denai has been manufacturing quality lounge furniture for the Australian market for over 20 years at this location. The focus at Denai is on quality while our emphasis is value for money. The componentry used in these lounges is sourced globally with our reputation and your satisfaction at the forefront of our selection process. OUR LEATHER In the manufacturing of the complete Denai product range only 100% top grain cowhide leather is used on the finished product, no split leather is used. The current leather range has two qualities and 50 colors available. OUR RANGE Our product range includes motion, function, contemporary and prestige categories. One outstanding feature of the collection for our customer is the ability to adapt ranges to fulfill your needs. 3 Be careful when cutting open the carton and make sure not to insert the knife too deeply as your custom made lounge is inside the box, close to the surface in some areas. Cables on all electric motion pieces Cables are not to be put under the recliner near the mechanisms. When a cable is put under the mechanism it can be caught up in the movement of the mechanism causing the action of the mechanism to sever the cable. This can in turn cause the recliner motor to short out. These issues are not covered under the Denai warranty. Good Looks Need To Be Maintained Before modeling After modeling Understand Your New Lounge We want to make sure your lounge gets to you in the best possible condition and so we package it well to protect it on its journey to your home. During the journey, a few crush marks may appear on your lounge but please do not be alarmed, these will naturally work their way out over a few weeks. Your cushions may appear to feel firmer than those you sat on in the showroom, but please be aware your seat foam will soften with use. It helps, especially when you first get your lounge, to remember to use all seating equally to soften all seat cushions evenly. If your lounge is a loose cushion or feather filled lounge, to keep their shape and comfort level you should fluff them regularly, much like your bed s pillows. This is to help maintain your lounge s appearance and comfort level. Step 1 Beat the backrest cushions and smooth from middle to both ends; Step 2 Beat the armrests and stretch out the covering from middle to the two sides; If you have pets, please be careful with them around your new lounge. Pets can damage your lounge through chew marks, claws and oil residue from their fur all of which are not covered within our warranty terms. Step 3 Smooth the folds at the centre of the seats as shown in the pictures
4 What To Expect With Use During the first few months of the life of Polyurethane foam, the foam tends to get softer and then stabilizes. This is quite normal. The pressure applied on the foam breaks the struts that make Polyurethane. This breaking of the struts results in a slight softening effect. For the reasons mentioned above, it is quite normal for two pieces purchased at the same time to give a different feel. This property will disappear after a few months of even and proper use. Creases may be observed after the use. These creases are normal and depend on the settling of leather and material. Softening of foam should be expected as a result of normal use and is not to be confused with loss of resilience. It s fun to always grab the same comfy spot on the sofa and let s face it we all have the spot we love. However maybe you should give a little thought to how you sit and use your sofa as in time this may affect its look and may even affect your warranty. All seating foams are designed to absorb the seated weigh loads in the centre of the cushion, sitting or laying on the edges and sides of the cushion can cause the breakdown of the foams causing them to flatten and lose their density, firmness and form. Natural settlement at the point most used will prevail and repeated or continual pressure put on these areas of your seating cushions can cause uneven settlement which is not covered under your seating warranty. Sofas that have soft fill or feather based cushions require regular shaping (e.g. plumping cushions) to maintain optimal look and appearance. Beauty of Genuine Leather Every leather sofa, recliner or ottoman we build is crafted in high quality leather. Soft, supple and highly durable, leather is a versatile and universally popular upholstery cover for furniture. Leather has a natural strength and an extraordinary ability to improve with age Genuine leathers breathe and feel cool in summer and warm during winter. Upholstery leather is made from animal skins, which are a by-product of the beef-cattle industry and offer a time-proven, sustainable solution for upholstering quality furniture. The hides are made ready for upholstery by tanning, which is a series of treatments that soften, pigment, beautify and protect the hides. Your Denai lounge features unique and hand made signatures that individually personalise every design. Just as no two fingerprints are alike, each piece of leather is distinctive in its markings. These markings add beauty to the leather and serve as proof of its authenticity. Leather is a natural material, so every hide has unique characteristics; and as our furniture is made from many hides, the leather may show slight colour and grain variation - this is only natural. Age adds character and reflects how the leather furniture has been used during its lifetime. Over the years, leather adapts itself to the user and develops a personalised and individual look. With regular use, as the leather fibres relax, we expect that comfort creases may form in the areas that receive the most body contact, such as seat and back cushions. All these signs serve as more evidence of the leather's authenticity and should be no cause for concern. Corrected Grain Leather Corrected Grain leather uses the strong top-grain layer from quality cattle hide, but these cattle hides may have shown excessive marks, scars, insect bites, nicks etc. To be used for selected Denai upholstery, the impact of these irregularities needs to be reduced; usually by lightly buffing (sanding and filling) the hides damaged top-grain surface. A uniform grain pattern is then embossed into the leather, to restore an overall 'even grain' look. Our Corrected Grain leathers are both strongly and carefully finished, to enhance their look and wear and provide excellent value for money as day-to-day leather furniture covers, perfect for families
5 Most common characteristics in genuine leathers. Vein Lines Horn Butts, Scrapes & Healed Scars Fat Wrinkles Skin Blemishes Scars, wrinkles and folds all contribute to the natural beauty of top grain leathers and do not affect the performance or longevity of the leather. The appearance of these characteristics varies from minimal to prominent, depending on the hide selection and processing. Unique Suspension System Spring steel is used in the fabrication of the seat suspension system. This steel is pretensioned, cut at precise length and then Zig-zag Spring mounted between two steel attachments. With continuous efforts in research and development, our designers have Elastic Webbing observed that with the use of the Timber Frame lounge over time, the springs may move causing a cavity formation. This may cause seat cushions to sag or not give even support. To eliminate this problem, our design team has come up with the idea of cross strengthening the Zig-zag spring suspension system that gives lasting comfort. Colour Variation Frame Construction Grain Variation Multiple Cushioning Combinations Depending upon the design of the lounge, different types of cushioning systems are used. For example, we use combinations of upholstery foam or foam and fibre. With years of our experience in the upholstery trade, we acknowledge the importance of the role played by the seat cushioning. With this in mind, we use only the best quality foam, spring cells and polyester fibre. About Reclining Mechanisms We use only one of the best reclining mechanisms available in the market. Proper use of this mechanism will give you lasting comfort. Lounges and chairs with Covering Zig-zag Spring and Elastic Webbing Multiple Cushioning reclining mechanisms give you the choice of changing the inclination of the back, Timber Frame positioning of the legs and changing of the seating position. It is important to point Elastic Webbing Protective Covering out that where recliners are provided in a lounge it is normal to see gaps as these gaps allow free movement and avoid excessive abrasion. The main body of the frame is made out of timber (exclude the designs with steel frame). Where strength is required, extra thick plywood is used. Assembly is done using customized staples, screws and glue

Don t fold with linens or pillows on the mattress. Upholstery material Selection Don t jump on bed. Our experienced buyers with a number of years of experience in upholstery and furniture manufacturing travel to many parts of the globe to select the best quality upholstery material whether it is leather or fabric. Material selection is done not just based upon price but its quality and other merits. When it comes to the selection of leather in particular, a number of factors are considered e.g. elasticity, tear strength and colour fastness. Rigorous testing is also done on the selected fabric range to ensure long lasting usage. Care Tips-Leather Following tips might help to maintain and look after your leather lounge better. There is a number of reputable upholstery leather cleaning kits available. Speak to your retailer about which one is suitable for your product. Try to maintain at least 2 meters between your furniture and your heat sources. Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight. All materials will fade over time when placed in direct sunlight. With leather you can remove dust particles from the surface with a soft cleaner (from the care kit) making it ideal for dust sensitive people. Apply protection cream (from the care kit) to the leather surface to help resist staining and prevent overall soiling. Fully clean your furniture with soft cleaner (from the care kit) and protect with leather protection cream (from the care kit) every six months to remove dirt as well as the gradual accumulation of body oils and perspiration. Following tips may help to maintain and look after your fabric lounge better. There is a number of reputable upholstery fabric cleaning kits available. Speak to your retailer about which one is suitable for your product. Try to maintain at least 2 meters between your furniture and your heat sources. Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight.
