The screens are panel-based but have removable tiles allowing access to the plenum. Furniture can be free standing or screen-hung. Stellar screens have a 60mm thick extruded aluminum chassis that are clad with drop-in panels. This allows the flexibility of providing a service duct on either side of a screen and enables items such as whiteboards or function wall to be retrofitted. All framing components are manufactured in metal and can be powder coated to special requirements. Extra transom rails can be fitted at 150mm centres to enable stellar to be produced as a tile-based system. The system is fully demountable and individual panels can be removed mid run and replaced without dismantling the panels either side as in some other systems. Stellar panels can be installed and reconfigured many times. The system has a full range of options for mid, base, and non-serviced screens. It can be full-height, glazed and fitted with doorways. The screens are faced with pin-able sound absorbing 3mm foam. Fabric attachment is by means of groove and spline; this method of upholstery does not show pulling marks that are associated with stapling presents the character of the fabric in best possible manner. This also allows removal for cleaning or replacement without damage.
