For harder work pieces like AL-alloys, copper, brass, bronce etc. lower speed rate should be applied. 2. Wet cooling during cutting increases the lifetime and improves the quality of cut. 3. Please take care of an absolutely firm workpiece clamping. This cutting tool combines the high cutting rates of Tungsten-Carbide with the "easy-repair" features of a Segmental Saw Blade and its low-vibration / low-noise cuts. 20 ARNTZ TECHNO-CUT - for solid material and structurals ARNTZ-TECHNO-CUT the Carbide-tipped Circular Saw Blade specially designed for metal cutting in noise dampening execution. "Spoke-like" laser slots filled with a special permanent-elastic dampening material lead to an enormous reduction of vibration and noise, particularly during cutting operations at high circumference speeds. ARNTZ-TECHNO-CUT helps to reduce noise by 8-9 db(a), in some applications even more. The shock absorption and dampening of vibrations reduce the wear of Carbide-cutting-edges and therefore, increase the life of saw blade. 21 ARNTZ HM-NE-NEGATIVE - for structurals Hints for the right use: Particularly for cutting thin-walled AL-profiles on miter swingsaws. The negativ tooth system is insensitive against impacts. As a result the blade will not be attracted to the workpiece because it offers less resistance against the cutting piece. Especially for anodized profiles. Rake angle and clearance angle can be measured easily and quickly. An additional function of FOCUS is also the precise definition of High-Low difference. Storage frames An important factor for the daily use of these tools is the professional storage of Carbide-tipped Circular Saw Blades. Side pressure during storage as well as direct contact with the floor must be avoided at all times. In order to make the working process at the sawing machine easier it is advisable to have special storage frames for the blades. 23
