12 SPECIFICATION MANUAL 20 TALL DOOR PROFILE Frame Top Option Available Extra length If a tall door is going to the floor and is sitting beside other patterned doors, an extra length at the bottom of the tall door is required. Specify Base Door Height If a toe kick for example is 1 then extra length would be approximately 130mm. This takes into account an approximate 20mm clearance between bottom of door and floor, or floor tiling. Pricing Specify Extra Length For tall door pricing refer to the schedule for the relevant door series. A tall door frame top is priced at Series Three regardless of the door style. Add 25% for gloss light colours, add 35% for gloss dark colours. 10

14 SPECIFICATION MANUAL 20 ONE PIECE MDF DOORS All doors made from sustainably sourced New Zealand HDF or MDF FR board specifically for a paint/lacquered finish with a gloss melamine back. We offer two styles of recessed panel with square internal corners. Tekapo has a 4mm depth with Manapouri having an 8mm depth. Either style can be supplied with a square or 3mm radius edge. Doors come pre-sanded, however it is advised to give doors a light sand ready for painting. All other profiles can be supplied raw for painting. Pricing Unsanded MDF Doors from our full range are available at 40% off the relevant door series price list. Tekapo and Manapouri are priced from Series 3. Note Available in any door style, frame or lattice. Further sanding and preparation is required before painting. To maintain door stability MDF doors have a gloss white melamine back. 15 13 DRAWERS Drawer Pack Reduced Rails Individual Drawer Fronts Drawer fronts can be ordered as individual drawers, reduced rail drawers or in a bank of drawers cut to size specified. Please refer to individual profiles for minimum sizes. Pricing For pricing of individual drawers and reduced rail drawers refer to the price schedule for the relevant door series. 23 WARRANTY AND CARE GUIDES Limitations of Thermoform If doors are subjected to excessive heat from certain types of ovens and dishwashers on a prolonged basis, shrinkage of the Thermoform vinyl wrapped edges may occur. To eliminate this potential shrinkage, we recommend the following:- -- Fit 0 degree wrapped panels either side of the oven and dishwasher, or if under bench, scriber panels will suffice. -- Where a drawer is fitted under an over tower, fit panel horizontally to protect drawer, or fit an appropriate powder coated oven deflector in either white or silver. When using melamine panels in conjunction with Dezignatek Thermoform doors, melamine PVC-clashed panels can be used for all of the above. Maintenance and General Care Dezignatek Thermoform doors are designed to be generally low maintenance; however we do have some pointers for looking after them: While Dezignatek doors and panels are water resistant, they aren t water proof. Care should be taken to ensure that they don t have excessive exposure to water, steam or extreme humidity. Care should also be taken to protect doors from high temperatures - such as hot implements or heat leaks from faulty appliances. Generally you should clean doors with a warm damp cloth which has had the excess water. The excess removed and then use a dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture. Never use the following on your doors: abrasive cleaners, Janola, or similar, scourer pads, wire wool, sand paper, or solvents and thinners. Warranty Dezignatek offers a 10 year warranty on its Thermoform products a full copy of the warranty can be downloaded from the website.
