Because there more playable characters added to Ultimate later on, a future NF issue will include an "extension" poster that will connect to the bottom of this one to add on all the remaining unrevealed base roster fighters plus any DLC additions, too! We looked back across his first 18 years in a lengthy retrospective and tried to pinpoint the time when Waluigi transcended his origins as a roster filler in a sports game and became one of the most loved characters in the Mario franchise. The incredible reception proved that an audience still existed hungry for Nintendo games coverage in magazine form, and propelled us to pursue subscriptions and enter production on a full year of follow-up issues. Rather than just creating one magazine after another defined only by the time of their release, we established the practice of having an overall theme that guided the content of each new issue here with 2 â and the first theme was celebrating all the other 2s out there. But when our first issue went on sale a year ago, the outpouring of support was so enormous that we knew it would be safe to open up full-year subscriptions. So we did, and thousands of you joined the Force by buying print subscriptions, digital subscriptions or a combination of both. We made enough money that we were able to cover the production costs for a full year of issues â the costs to print all of the issues and package and mail them around the world. This is the campaign for NF Magazine, Year 2. Thus far, every member of the Nintendo Force has been working pro-bono â producing the great content of this magazine with no compensation, solely working to keep the legacy of Nintendo Power alive. Kickstarter is a signal booster to reach out to more of those people, and new fans will be able to sign up for Year 2 Subscriptions using this same campaign page. 4 Chapter 3 : Shop MagCloud Nintendo Force Magazine is a fan-made Nintendo magazine. It was made by the staff of several Nintendo fan-sites to be the successor to Nintendo theinnatdunvilla.com was revealed on December 21,, notably being 10 days after the last issue of Nintendo Power was released. We were able to do two different posters last year, getting the momentum started in this area. Now, we want to do more! We made it partway to that goal last year, as we were able to do two different posters â one that shipped alongside Issue 8, and another that accompanied Issue But this year, you guys have blown these Stretch Goals out of the water! We even had time for an extra Stretch Goal at the very end, and you all completed that one too! Thanks so much for the huge outpouring of support! This issue was also accompanied by our first fold-out poster, featuring Mario and his Mushroom Kingdom friends in their first anti-gravity race. Illustrated by Thor Thorvaldson. We also celebrated the 25th anniversary of the original flagship piece of video game crossover media â the classic cartoon show "Captain N: The Game Master" â by debuting the first half of a two-part, page sequel comic. Appropriately, the comic continued into Issue 11, which had as its focus the Leading Ladies of Nintendo gaming. Shantae claimed the cover for this one as her long-awaited third adventure neared its debut date in the Nintendo eshop. For our final issue of, we presented "The Gratitude Project," a social media campaign that encouraged our readers to send tweets of thankfulness out to the hardworking video game developers who make our favorite pastime possible. Bundled along with this issue was our second fold-out poster, which was a double-sided celebration of the new Super Smash Bros.! On one side, new original art from Thor Thorvaldson. The new Wii U release, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, illustrates this type of game perfectly, as its visuals are entirely made out of clay. 5 Chapter 4 : Nintendo Force Magazine IGN Boards Nintendo Force, or NF Magazine, is a bi-monthly magazine that centers upon various Nintendo hardware products. In December, IGN editor and magazine founder Lucas M. Thomas announced his intention to release the magazine, stating that he had begun to plan for the magazine upon hearing of Nintendo Power's cancellation.
