4 Start Screen Step into ring to Start Pi Fight PLAYER PLAYER WAITING FOR PLAYER WAITING FOR PLAYER READY 5 READY Game Specifications: Dimensions: Low res projection: 800x600 or low hd equivalent FPS:. Game logo or wordmark. Super Pi Fighter. Punch Out style intro screen where a Pie punches through the screen. See at 8 seconds. Instruction copy invites audience members to initiate and participate in game. Player Indicater - implies a player game. Waiting for player indicator - indicates that another player is needed to initiate the game 5. Ready indicator - indicates that the current player is ready to play 6. Misc. - the screen will time out over 0 seconds and play one of the intro screens in an idle state. It s worth noting that the proximity sensor may not be reliable enough to use to initiate a game - there may be false positives so there may be the need for an additional input (buttons) Page
5 Character Select ARCHIMEDES THE GIANT THE ULTIMATE ISAAC NEWTON Step forward or back to select Character Player Name - Indicates the name of the currently selected character. Changes as the selected character changes. Scrolling Character Thumbnails - 6 character thumbnails scroll up or down in a filmstrip style based on audiece member proximity using proximity sensors. Thumbnails can be cut off on bottom of screen. Selected Character Indicator - shows where the thumbnail needs to be positioned for the character to be selected. Selected thumbnail image switches to an active image when selected. Title or wordmark - same wordmark as on the Start Screen. Changes to be a VS. prior to the game starting 5. Instructions - describes how to select a character 6. Countdown - selection is locked in once the counter proceeds to 0 Page 5
6 Character Select ARCHIMEDES THE GIANT FOCUS Focus to ready a Pie. Blink to fire. Move forward or back to dodge. THE ULTIMATE ISAAC NEWTON BLINK Instructions - indicates how to play the game.. Countdown Screen - time remaining in game to score a Pie hit. If no hit is made a Tie or Lose screen is indicated. Pi ready indicator - reflects the level of focus. Indicates whether to blink to fire or focus to ready a Pie. When an adequate level of focus is reached, the player is told to Blink to fire. Character - blue or red garbed character avatar. Moving forward or back relative to the proximity sensor controls the characters vertical position 5. Pie - a projectile that is fired when the character blinks. The Pie is launched from the characters vertical position and travels horizontally across the screen. The speed that the Pie travels at is determined by the level of focus. If the Pie hits the characters head it counts as a win. Any strike initiates the end sequence Page 6
7 End Screen PREPARING LAUNCH. Instructions - describes what happens next. Either Launching Pie or LOSERS. Countdown to Launch - time remaining until Pie Launch is triggered. Tasty Pie Graphic - self explanatory. Impending doom graphic - indicates what is about to happen to Blue or Red team member (final fight endscreen illustrated) Page 7
8 Pi Cam Screen FIRE. Pi Cam Screen - a live video stream of the victim about to be pied. If video stream is unavailable, photos can be captured. Fire title. Victim Page 8
