5 ROTARY TRIMMERS martin yale rotary trimmers are designed for everyday use in an office or studio setting. There are 4 versions to choose from, with cutting lengths up to 1,300 mm (Format DIN A0) and high capacities up to 25 sheets. Precise and effortless cutting is the credo of martin yale rotary trimmers. The trimmers stand steadily on a sturdy metal base and non-skid feet, with an ergonomically designed cutting head to reduce the required force. Our rotary trimmers provide a gentle, reliable cutting operation. The best cutting results from a perfect interaction between the sharpened round and bottom knife, and the optimized guiding of the cutting head on the triangle rail. Safe operations: For maximum user safety the ground rotary blade is integrated into the cutting head. Easy adjustments: The variable cutting head stop allows precise adjustment of the cutting depth, e.g. when cutting index files. 7 GUILLOTINES Unlike conventional systems, martin yale guillotines are equipped with an off-set rotating point for optimal cutting results with minimal effort. Three guillotine models offer cutting lengths up to DIN A3/ SRA3 or 550 mm formats. Specially hardened blades cut the paper smoothly. The off-set rotating point works in combination with the ergonomically shaped handle to ensure the best possible cutting results with the least possible effort. martin yale guillotines also offer a space-saving design: the blade opening angle is smaller than conventional cutters and the hand guard is closer to the table surface. Firm hold: during the cutting process the paper is automatically pressed and kept in the right position. The clamp follows the blade movement, lifting and lowering automatically to ensure a consistent cut. Measuring scales (cm and inches) are printed directly onto the sturdy metal base. Guillotine G55: Available as standard model with front stop, extendible to 150 mm. Useful for cutting long sheets of paper or a larger quantity of strips. 6

SAFETY FLIP Ensures safety while cutting and also suitable for longer sheets of paper. CUTTING SHARP Once the paper is in place, a red light indicates the cutting line to ensure proper paper alignment. The strong clamp holds the stack of paper in place throughout the cutting process. The martin yale range of fully hydraulic ream cutters offers a variety of 4 different cutting lengths, suitable for all common paper formats in the digital printing industry. SAFETY NETWORK All machines are equipped with Net -light guards, which build up a tight network to ensure maximum user protection. If the light guard network detects any interference, the machine will automatically stop the cutting process and return to the starting position. EASY TO OPERATE The setting of the back gauge is made via the Digital Control Unit. It includes three absolute and one relative memory settings for frequently used cut sequences. The back gauge is driven by a step-motor for precise settings. The obligatory two-hand operation ensures safety by requiring the user to keep both hands on the machine while it is in use. The setup and saving of cuts and cut sequences can be done easily via the key touch display. FLEXIBLE CUT Although the machine is automatically operated, some features give more flexibility in daily work: The light line indicates precisely where the machine will cut and enables the user to cut specific lines, such as angle cuts. With the foot pedal, the clamp can be pre-pressed in order to keep the paper in position. The hand wheel enables fine adjustment of the back gauge in small steps. 10
