2 Holiday Home Work MATHS The Delhi Government introduced odd and even rule in which a vehicle was allowed to run across the city based on their registration numbers. Look in your locality and write down the registration numbers of five vehicles which were allowed to run on even dates Also note down the registration numbers of five vehicles which were allowed to run on odd dates. 3 ENGLISH Activity 1 Reading For Pleasure in summer vacations. Reading is important because it develops the mind. The mind is a muscle. It needs exercise. Understanding the written word is one way the mind grows in its ability. So, let s do some brain exercise by reading a book written by any one of the following authors- 1 Enid Blyton 2 Ruskin Bond 3 Roald Dahl 4 Any of your choice. Take a A-3 size sheet. Fold it into half and decorate the front page and write the title of the book. Write down the story you have read in your own simple word {not more than 100 words} Activity 2 My Mobile Dictionary Cut out the shape of any bird/insect with an ivory sheet. Make 4-5 such birds/insects. Write down 6 word- meanings on one bird/insects (3 wordmeanings on each wing as shown in the picture).
