As the weather gets warmer and more students walk and ride to school, please encourage your child to be safe. It is especially important that they not cross any roads without the assistance of a crossing guard. Congratulations to Mrs. Karen Striley, our special education lead teacher, who will be recognized by the Central Maryland Chamber of Commerce at their Spirit of Community Awards Dinner on March 19 th. Mrs. Striley was nominated by her peers for her many years of hard work and dedication to the students and PHES community. She is a great example of the super teachers who work here. Mrs. Striley is an advocate for her students, making sure their needs are met, while encouraging them to overcome their challenges. She continually sets high expectations for all her students.
