1 Welcome to 7 th Grade! Ottoson Summer Reading You are required to read two books this summer, one book from the following required list (Part I) and one book from the recommended list (Part II). You could also choose to read two books from the required list (Part I). PART I (Book I): Read one of the following required options. Please complete the doubleentry journal as you are reading. 3 Name Part I: Summer Reading Double-Entry Journal Directions: Show how well you understand the required book. Write the page number and an appropriate quote in the left two columns. Explain why you think the quote is important to the plot, setting, characters, conflict, or main idea of the book. Each reaction should be at least 3-5 good sentences long.
