1 Start Gulliver travels in his space ship. He s talking to his brother on the transmitter. Gulliver tells him that he s happy to be so far away from Earth.

He says that all he was chasing after couldn t be caught. That he had to take a huge decision: Now or never! He is going to take off! A space voyage investigating space from all the way up there.

He is in search of the ECHO of the BIG BANG. He explains that his life as an astronomer was going nowhere. The tick-tock of the clock warned him that life is short. He says that all he was chasing after couldn t be caught. That he had to take a huge decision: Now or never! He is going to take off! A space voyage investigating space from all the way up there. He asks outer space to show him a route. He asks for information about where to go Signals arrive on his navigator that set his course. He tells his brother that now he knows the direction of his journey, he s happy and not afraid. And that when he gets home, he s gonna tell him what the stars are really like and how the man in the moon lives. 3

1st Planet Liliput Gulliver lands on an unknown planet and asks himself Where am I? Dwarves appear and sing to him the name of their planet: Lilliput, Lilliput, Lilli, Lilli, Lilliput.

The King of Lilliputians appears, King Eggman, who introduces himself as the master of everything. King Eggmann asks Gulliver who he is and what he wants of them. Gulliver explains that he comes from Earth, and is on a space exploration mission in search of the echo of the Big Bang. Gulliver asks the King if he can help him reach his goal. The King s army, the Lilliputians, sing their song. The King tells Gulliver that in order to receive his help he must pass three tests. And if he passes the three tests he will earn the right to ask one question: but only one single question to help reach his goal. Hurriedly, Gulliver says: Yes! The King warns him that if he fails, the Lilliputians will punish him! They will rip off his skin, cut off his nose and leave him to die. Gulliver isn t intimidated, and goes for it. 5

The Lilliputians repeat it. And once again, the impertinent Lilliputians repeat their song. The King sings the oath to Gulliver: A hand on the foot, a finger on the hair and the other hand on the ear. The King goes on: A register for a minister, for the president of a regiment, And he explains that only the most beautiful, the fastest and the most skillful can become president in the land of Liliput. He asks King Eggman if he can swap this test for another. The King refuses. Under the threat of torture and death, the King wants to force him to go to war. The king hopes that with his enormous size, Gulliver could help him win the war. Here come the Lilliputians, who try to sway him with a war song. Gulliver is sure. He doesn t want to go to war! Gulliver flees! He gets into his spaceship and takes off! The Lilliputians stay behind and curse him with one of their violent songs. 7

11 2 Gulliver has saved his own skin and continues his voyage in his spaceship. He s relieved to have saved himself in the nick of time. He thinks that the people of the planet Lilliput are absolutely crazy. The Lilliputians are dangerous, they want to kill him. They re not the ones to help him reach his goal. The second stage of Gulliver's journey includes a film that contains partial nudity. This part has been suppressed for the Children's Version. 9

14 Gulliver travels through space and little by little, he spots a planet in the shape of a giant woman. She introduces herself as the mother of all stars and all planets: I am the planet Glumdalklitch, I am like the sun. I am the heat, My breast is pleasure and my body is desire. I am eternal pleasure! Gulliver is fascinated. Glumdalklitch reveals how she gave birth to all the stars and the planets in the universe. The Great Bear and the Little Bear, Scorpio, Leo, etc. It was an extraordinary and frenzied time. And when the creation was complete, she remained alone in this immense sea of stars. Gulliver asks her advice about his voyage. But Glumdalklitch answers: Patience, patience. First tell me, why are you so small? Glumdalklitch, who has spent an eternity alone, longs to be loved and promises Gulliver a journey to his deepest emotions. Gulliver gets ready. Ha, ha, ha, ha, Ha, ha, ha, ha, Ha, ha, ha, ha, Ha, ha, ha, ha. Glumdalklitch is overjoyed with Gulliver. She s never had it as good as she has it with him. But Gulliver can t go on and asks her to stop. Glumdalklitch doesn t want to let go. Now she finally has a man in her arms, she wants to make the most of it! Gulliver tells her that he loves her. But the difference in size is too great. It s going to kill him! He asks her again for help on his journey. Glumdalklitch softens and tells him a secret: Gulliver tells her that he isn t small, but that she is very big! Huge like a giant meatball. With pores as big as Gulliver s mouth, and if he fell inside one, he would surely die. But he overcomes his fear and suggests to Glumdalklitch that they give each other a little mutual affection. It s fine, Gulliver, I love being with you, And I give you this advice: When you leave me, you ll come across the planet Double X. Keep following its trail and you ll discover some wise beings reading complicated scriptures. They know a great deal, and they will tell you the coordinates, that will enable you to measure space, and in doing so, you ll find your destination. Gulliver thanks her and hurriedly returns to his voyage in his spaceship. 12

21 Gulliver lands at a very big space station and is met by a guide, Mr. Mondi. Mr. Mondi explains that he is on a metallic island called The Harlot. Gulliver asks him the purpose of the elevators that go up to the moons. And whether one of these moons is home to The Immortals, who are capable of measuring the universe. Mr. Mondi confirms this to be true, and explains that these beings were the most intelligent of all, and that thinking so much has caused their brains to deform. They were mathematicians that investigated the geometry of thoughts. They tackled the most complex questions: How much does the universe weigh? How loud was the Big Bang? Where are the frontiers of space? And where are the stars headed? Gulliver wants to go up immediately and talk to them. Mr. Mondi warns him that it s a dangerous journey and that The Immortals don t want to see anyone. Gulliver doesn t care. So, Mr. Mondi calls the elevator and wishes him luck. Gulliver goes up! Up there, on the moon, Gulliver runs into three Immortals and apologizes for his intrusion. The Immortals tell him it s ok and explain that they were expecting him, so they could help each other. And they ask for his help to leave immortality behind. They became immortal by researching mathematical rumors, sacred geometry and other complicated subjects. And suddenly their brains started to spin and they found themselves to be Immortal. It was incredible. What they didn t realize, was how hard it would be to be immortal. Gulliver wants to stay with them. But the Immortals explain that it won t be possible: Gulliver is on a mission. And if he fulfils it, perhaps the Immortals will finally be able to die. From a distance, he hears cra, cra, cra. The Immortals explain that he must follow that sound to find what he is looking for. 19

Like a giant record player, like a universal lawn mower, a telescope, a compass, the eternal violinist. Gulliver knows he has reached his goal! 21

Gulliver asks them where he is. The ravens answer that his journey has come to its end. That he has reached his destination. But that his destination is nowhere.

And while there is space, we must fly. If we stop flying, time will stand still and if time stops, space will end. And the rings? Gulliver asks. Have others found you? The rings are the springs of the clock that counts the light years. They are part of the great compass that orders the stars and directs the universe. 24
