2 10SPORTS4W WELCOME We are delighted to welcome you into the Golden Oldies Fraternity! We have a huge and incredibly exciting job ahead of us in Christchurch next April and your help will make all the difference. Apart from the hard work I can promise you a whole lot of fun and an experience you will look back on fondly. You will have the chance to experience and help successfully run the biggest participation sporting event ever held in the South Island. Christchurch will be alive with people from all around the world, here to play their chosen sport and have fun - lots and lots of fun. You will be right in the middle of that and you will make friends with people whose language you don t even speak! Thank you in advance for your assistance at the Celebration. We know you will enjoy your time with us and in the process help put Christchurch up in lights around the world. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Peter McDermott Managing Director Vintage Sport & Leisure Ltd WORLD SQUASH FESTIVAL CHRISTCHURCH 2018

We were a small group and as a TEAM LIASONVOL I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE MEET/GREET/HELP REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE. All the teams from many countries bonded and as a volunteer new to the Festival I was immediately welcomed and at ease. I would say an absolute YES to doing this again the input/planning of the organising body was amazing. Busy and involved week, just what I enjoy... Christchurch here I come!!!!
