High efficiency Trail s great energy efficiency (up to 125 lm/w) and reduced maintenance drastically reduce operating costs compared with conventional fluorescence systems. 8 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS SUPERMARKETS: AN EXAMPLE OF A LIGHTING SOLUTION The traditional solution for lighting commercial spaces consists in the composition of fluorescent lines with regular spacing, perpendicular to the aisles. This mode ensures homogeneous ambient lighting but involves a considerable waste of luminous flux, which is directed indifferently at useful as well as unnecessary areas, for example towards areas above the shelving. Trail, thanks to the characteristic modular elements and the wide range of optics, allows you to choose the most suitable solution for the areas where it is used: with a single system it performs the function of illuminating work environments and also guiding customers towards purchase, accompanying them along the aisles and display areas, directing the flow only where it is needed. Comparing Trail with the traditional fluorescent solution, it is clear that the payback on the initial investment is achievable in the short term. Diffused Optics The diffused lens is suitable for the uniform lighting of shelves and aisles. In chain stores Trail provides uniform illumination for entrances, checkouts and areas occupied by gondolas and low shelving. It can also be used to illuminate spaces without shelves and production departments. System design is not bound by store layout, allowing settings to be restyled without having to reset any directional pointing. 60 Optics Trail_line with 60 medium-flood optics can replace the diffused version to fulfil the general lighting function in environments with ceiling heights up to 8 m. In traditional chain store contexts it can be used for the direct lighting of gondolas, low display units and refrigerated sections, focussing customer attention on free-standing elements. 60 optics is also used in small warehouses and goods storage areas, where it ensures optimised, uniform lighting on aisles and racks. linealight trail LINEAR LED TRUNKING SYSTEM

Asymmetric optics Asymmetric optics was designed to illuminate perimeter shelving in supermarkets. The beam is directed sideways and focuses on the goods displayed, thus avoiding light dispersion and user glare. Bi-asymmetric optics Bi-asymmetric optics, specifically designed for the central aisles of supermarkets, performs the dual function of general, comfortable lighting and guiding customers in the purchasing process. The special lens directs the light sideways to focus attention on the shelves while reducing glare in transit areas. Customers eyes are focussed on the displayed goods, making the purchase experience easier

12 trail track system TRAIL CONFIGURATOR The Trail_chassis elements allow you to create a support structure to connect the individual Trail_line and Trail_opti modules to. The system consists of a 6060 anodised extruded aluminium profile or white embossed aluminium painted RAL9003, equipped with linear 0.75 mm 2 cross-section wiring in double isolation with quick connect 3 or 5-pole connectors. The 3-pole version is used for a single ON/OFF power line while the 5-pole version can be used to obtain three independent power lines (threephase system) or a DALI signal management line. All elements are equipped with steel safety cable to be connected to the individual light fixtures. The accessories, with quick coupler, enable ceiling or suspended installation on adjustable steel cable. 13 QUICK INSTALLATION The modules fit easily into the Trail_chassis support structure and are available in 2 finishes, extruded anodised 6060 aluminium or embossed painted white RAL9003, with versions for ON/OFF 3-pole system (neutral-phase-earth); ON/OFF 5-pole (neutral-phase1- phase 2-phase 3-earth or DALI 5-pole (neutral-phase-earth-dali1- DALI2).
