3 Nexus Updates Nexus Updates As part of Avalara s continuous improvement process, we are updating the AvaTax service to support the following: United States Alabama In order to calculate and report sales tax as required by the State of Alabama, we are changing the Local Nexus Settings for Cullman, Dale, Elmore, Lauderdale, Lee, Marion, and Marshall Counties. This update can also be started at any time by Account Admin and Company Admin Users. AvaTax Certs Exemption Certificate entries are then used for immediate Transaction processing.
