2 Measuring System With the MyPro CPM 431 you have many choices of ph / ORP electrodes. For accuate selection of the correct electrode type, contact Endress+Hauser. The MyPro can work with either: Compact electrodes or: Replaceable electrodes with high quality electrode holders and detachable electrode cables Compact Electrodes with Fixed Cables CPF 81/82 ph/orp CPF 91/92 ph/orp Replaceable Electrodes Detachable Cable CPK 9 MyPro CPM 431 System Examples CPS 11/12 ph/orp CPS 41 ph The CPS 11/12 electrode is designed for universal usage, easy to clean and soilresistant due to PTFE junction. For pressures of up to 90 psi and conductivity > 50 µs/cm. The CPS 41 electrode is designed with a ceramic junction and liquid KCI electrolyte, usable with counter pressures of up to 116 psi. 3 General Information Self Diagnosis The MyPro CPM 431 continually checks the operational reliability of the measuring point. It can identify 28 possible problem causes in 4 different error classes: 1. Failure 2. Service required 3. Malfunction 4. Warning Errors are signalled in the field via the display and simultaneously via the HART interface, and optionally via an error current signal (22 ma). Electrode Monitoring SCS The Sensor Check System (SCS) monitors the ph and the reference electrodes for inaccurate measurement and total failure. The SCS detects: Breakage of electrode glass Detects shorts in ph measuring circuit and bridges due to moisture or fouling at terminals Fouling or blocking of reference electrode Two monitoring methods are employed: ph electrode resistance monitoring (alarm in case the impedance drops below a minimum threshhold) Monitoring of reference electrode impedance (an alarm is issued when the defined threshold is exceeded Electrode Monitoring with SCS 22 ma Mounting Options " 1.5" to 8" 2 4 ➀ Mounting on 2 pipe. The keyboard is located underneath the protective cover to prevent unintentional actuation and to avoid the ingress of dirt or moisture. Operation via HART Interface In addition to field operation, the instrument can be operated via its HART interface with a hand-held HART terminal No Unauthorized Access Configuration and calibration data are protected against unauthorized access using a two-step access code.
