3 Testing ow current instaations and equipment (teephone systems, eectronics, ) Owing to their insuation test votages, 50 V to 100 V (mode C.A 6531) and 50 V to 500 V (mode C.A 6533), both these meters are ideay suited to measurement on ow current equipment and instaations (teephone systems, eectronics etc.). The best of insuation In terms of ergonomics, safety and usabiity (see opposite), modes C.A 6531 and C.A 6533 offer the same advantages as their forbears dedicated to eectrica instaation testing. To make measurement easy, imit vaues can be stored in memory, triggering a beep sound. Teecommunications Perfecty adapted for measurement on teephone ines, mode C.A 6531 tests insuation under 50 V or 100 V. By simpy pressing the yeow button on the probe the user initiates the insuation measurement. The probe comes compete with ighting faciity to iuminate the area undergoing measurement. In conjunction with the back-it screen this makes testing possibe at any time of year, any time of day. TO ORDER Because insuation testing is often carried out on instaations where there is no mains suppy it is often necessary to have a backup ighting faciity. The probe s powerfu LED is aways at hand to iuminate the test area. The remote contro probe is an optiona accessory (Ref. PO ), pugging straight into megohmmeters C.A 6523, C.A 6525, C.A 6531 and C.A Origina carrying bag as suppied with your megohmmeter. The test probe is easiy removed and safey stored away in the back of the casing. A simpe touch of the button (see photo) with the index finger is a that s needed to operate the ighting system. "Hands-free" carrying case This carefuy designed carrying case is suppied with each megohmmeter making hands-free measurement possibe as we as faciitating the transport of the meter and its accessories. Once the strap is passed behind the neck the instrument can be positioned horizontay against the operator s chest, giving a cear view of the dispay.
