7 Color Surfaces and Type Colored surfaces in Platinum and Fleet Green are characteristic of the appearance of Daimler Fleet Management brochures. These color surfaces represent a significant and frequently recurring means of design together with the color pair Fleet Green and, which is especially used in the headline system. In contrast to front covers, Platinum can be applied in different shades on inside pages. Furthermore, the headline system can be placed either on a colored surface or on a white surface. They are listed in their CMYK settings and can be converted to spot colors if required. Quality of Paper A white, woodfree photo paper-or free sheet-with dual-sided matte coating and made of chlorine-free pulp should be used as the standard paper when producing brochures. Uncoated paper or recycled paper may be resorted to as an alternative. The same grammage (170 g/m2) may be used for both the content and cover of brochures comprising up to eight pages. When exceeding eight pages, a grammage of 250 g/ m2 is recommended for the cover and 150 g/ m2 for the content. For brochures exceeding 24 pages, a grammage of 250 g/ m2 may be maintained for the cover, but may be decreased to 135 g/ m2 for the content. Manufacture Brochures of up to 48 pages may be saddle-stitched or loop stitched with twofold stapled loops.
