3 Judge Judge: Dr. Valerie Rohret, professor of Art History at Sacramento City College. Valerie received her B.A. & M.A. degrees from the University of Utah, and her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. She has served as an esteemed professor at SCC for many years, and teaches a wide variety of Art History courses. a a a a a a a a Music Musician (reception): Alison Sharkey, cellist since 1998 Alison has been teaching and playing in musical groups throughout northern California. In addition to her musical accomplishments, she is currently a WAL artist-in-residence where she creates custom heirloom quilts, garments and accessories via her sustainable sewing brand, Hugh&Mimi.
