The top lot of the auction was a pair of Chinese Ming Wan Li vases, decorated with dragons among clouds and having provenance to Vallin Galleries, fetching $9,000. This Tiffany Studios lamp having a 12-inch shade and five spade feet made $6,000. MONROE, CONN. Lighting up the block during Fairfield Auction s online sale that ran May were two Tiffany Studios floor lamps with Damascene shades. The larger of the two at 58 inches tall overall, a 12-inch shade and with five spade feet earned $6,000, while its slightly smaller version, 10- inch shade, 55 inches tall and with three spade feet, made $3,840. The top lot overall, however, was a pair of Chinese Ming Wan Li vases decorated with dragons among clouds having provenance to Vallin Galleries. The vases attained an aboveestimate price of $9,000. Other top lots included a Regina music box with stand playing 15½-inch discs (15 were included) at $6,000 and a Victorian cow weathervane, full bodied with a cast iron head, made in the late Nineteenth Century. The fine art category was led by a Chauncey Foster Ryder oil on canvas, Figures On A Bridge, that earned $4,560, LONDON Halcyon Gallery is presenting Master Graphics The Art of Printmaking, a rare and insightful collection of works on paper, through July 31. The show features art by the leading artists of the Twentieth Century and encompasses works from practitioners on both sides of the Atlantic. Works by Henri Matisse, Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso are displayed alongside the early Pop protagonists Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. From etchings to aquatints, lithographs, carborundum prints and portfolios, Master Graphics is a vivid culmination of the Auctioneer Jack de Stories poses during preview with the cow weathervane that would go on to fetch $5,760. Rounding out the auction were two separate lots, three South African gold krugerrands dating to the 1970s, bringing $3,840 and a 14K diamond solitaire ring with a 1½ -carat diamond at $4,080.
