1 Why embroider your product? Embroidery adds a high perceived value to a logo and provides a very professional appearance. It has a great level of durability and will wash and dry clean well whilst maintaining appearance in color and outline. Kanata has the specialized knowledge and experience on our many fabrics to assure that your logo will look its best. To maintain the high perceived value of a Kanata blanket, your logo is embroidered in one or more colors to complement the tones of your fabric choice and trim. The Kanata difference is the back of our embroideries. Using high-quality tear away backing and bobbin matching, wherever possible, on the reverse side, the back side of our fabrics always has a clean appearance. 2 How do I send my artwork? If the file is already digitized: DST or EXP. For artwork to be digitized please submit all files in IBM PC format only. For Vector Artwork: CDR, PS, EPS, AI - For Bitmap Artwork: TIFF, JPEG, PSD, PDF. All texts and fonts should be converted to paths, curves or outlines in black and white only. Alternately all fonts used in the artwork can be specified. Maximum thread colors 9 color maximum on all quantities. Color matching Kanata will match color as closely as possible with available threads. Exact color matching may be available for additional charge. Orders shipping from West Coast facilities mostly use Sulky Gunold othread, dependent on the facility. Orders shipping from East Coast facility mostly use Robinson Anton thread. If a specific make is required, please call for details. On towels, we will match color as close as possible with available threads. Exact color matching may be available for an additional charge. 3 Is there a set up charge? Yes for digitizing of embroidery: $88.24 (h). Please note: we also charge an editing Fee of $25.88 (h) per edit; approximately 95% of all supplied digitized files require editing.
