Tiffany from the Garden Museum, Japan Condition Reports Lot 1: Dressing Table Mirror -Some discoloration to mirror -Old repairs to upper left corner leaf -One leaf loose and secured by wire -Slight repair to translucent enamel at that area Lot 2: Counter Balance Desk Lamp -Shade excellent, no chips or scratches -Base excellent -Light socket (electrical portion) not old, now fitted for candelabra bulb -Cord has been replaced Lot 3: Peacock Plate -No cracks, chips or damage issues of any kind Lot 4: Linenfold Table Lamp -Six small hairline cracks in upper corners of large linenfold tiles -Five hairline cracks in lower border tiles -One crack in upper border tile -Base: good gilded finish, one small indentation on shaft Lot 5: Dessert Plates -No chips, cracks or breaks -Slight surface scratches on two plates from use Lot 6: Venetian Lamp -Excellent condition -Only one small hairline crack noted -Gold finish and patina good -No losses or issues to base, excellent finish on bronze Lot 7: Desk Set -Slight edge nicks to letter opener -All jewels present and intact -No other condition issues

2 Lot 8: Limoges Tea Service -A lovely tea service, all pieces with L.C.T. monogram -Tea cups with L.C.T. monogram; creamers, pitcher, covered server - monogram on one side as well as base marked L.C.T. October 12, Tea cup underplates marked L.C.T. on bottom only -Four teacups missing, only eleven cups -Larger under plates marked on plate as well as underneath -Not checked for possible D.N.A. residue of Louis Comfort Tiffany -Overall condition excellent Lot 9: Turtleback Clock -Clock works are marked France Medallion DʼArgent All turtlebacks are intact with good iridescence; no cracks, chips or other damage -Some of the turtlebacks have casting lines from the original making of the jewels with the bronze housing; the patina is dark green and in good condition -The back door closes well and latches properly -The clock key is not old -Clock was wound, seems to run -Fine chiming as appropriate Lot 10: Mosaic Pen Wiper -Overall excellent -Several miniscule flakes to three mosaic tiles (smaller than the head of a pin) Lot 11: Enamel Pea-pod Belt Buckle -A lovely enamel piece -Good color and overall condition -Slight enamel loss at center of leftmost pea-pod (as per catalog photo) Lot 12: Sailing Ship Mosaic Panel -Some mosaic tiles with chips or cracks -Several areas with lighter colored grout from restoration

3 -This piece weighs approximately 1,500 pounds *Please note: This massive mosaic was taken apart in removal from its original location. During the restoration process it was reassembled and mounted to a double thick backing of two one inch plywood sheets for stability. Lot 13: Organic Form Fire Screen -Overall excellent condition -Good Patina throughout -Several dents in upper bronze edge Lot 14: Charles De Kay - Art of Louis C. Tiffany -An exceptionally clean and unworn copy of this rare book with a personal dedication by L.C.T. to his sister Louise -One page loose - Chapter V: Textiles and Hand Stuffs Lot 15: Daffodil Table Lamp -Base: Nice patina throughout -Green reticulated glass is all sound -Shade: no cracks or breaks of any kind -Patina is consistent and excellent both inside and out Lot 16: Byzantine Box -No condition issues of any kind noted -Has interior bronze liner (removable) and the glass is backed with bronze inside the box -No cracks to glass -Lovely green/brown patina Lot 17: Apple Blossom Window -Overall excellent condition -One crack in sky above blossoms -Signed with applied metal tag Tiffany Studios, New York Lot 18: The Village Peddler Painting -No chips, punctures or losses -All four corners intact -Some light surface accretions, otherwise very fine condition -Ultraviolet analysis: n/a

8 -Ultraviolet analysis: UV showing a few scattered old varnish remnants with a triangular or pie shape inpaint of total size approximate to 1/3 U.S. dime in upper right sky. Slightly smaller inpaint in lower dress of woman standing far left. 3/4 inch old fill center left sky with corresponding slightly larger inpaint. At horizon upper far right approximate horizontal 1/2 inch fluorescing reading as a varnish remnant. -Frame: vintage style replacement frame, gilt with acanthus design Lot 51: Millefiore Paperweight Vase -Bottom has been drilled for a lamp base -No other issues Lot 52: Inkstand Lot 53: Apple Blossom Table Lamp -Shade: good even green and brown patina throughout, thirty-one tight and small hairline cracks in shade -Base has excellent patina with one slight surface scratch extending one inch Lot 54: Pair of Claw Foot Andirons -Slight scratches and abrasions on feet and shaft commensurate with use -Copper finish very fine -Turtlebacks tiles have no issues Lot 55: Leslie H. Left and right frame edge showing inpaint. A few scattered minute 00 or smaller in size dot inpaints showing upper left sky, left at horizon, center horizon. Total scattered and minute 00 inpaints less size than a U.S. dime. A few scattered inpaints showing around the top right of boat at horizon, total size less than U.S. dime.

Inpaint in child sitting with back to rock wearing blue bathing outfit just smaller in total size than a U.S. nickel. Total size of all inpaints found in canvas about the size of a U.S. half dollar. Tiffany in signature fluoresces, appears to have been strengthened decades past. -Frame: period style replacement frame, gilt in acanthus design Lot 89: Market Scene Painting *Fine Art Department Lot 90: Flowerform Vase -Just above the knob on the stem one of the avocado veins of decoration has a 1/8 inch loss -Adjacent avocado vein shows slight nick in decoration and between these two areas and continuing around the stem are abrasions -Has captured ash deposit at fold, top rim -Interior open bubble 1/16 inches, in interior only -Condition on the stem is clearly in Masterworks of Tiffany photo on page 98 -All other aspects excellent Lot 91: Lily Flowerform Vase -Slight residue on inside of vase from use -No other issues Lot 92: Flowerform Vase -Slight interior residue deposit from use as a vase -No other issues Lot 93: Magnolia Landscape Window -One hairline crack noted in magnolia blossom -Three hairline cracks noted in lower hills glass -Three cracks noted in center section of sky above mountains, due to center section placement - this issue is not very noticeable -Overall a superb and important window in wonderful condition Lot 94: Flowerform Vase
