5 Carolyn Fairless Wheeler Trigg O Donnell (303) fairless@wtotrial.com Carolyn Fairless is the managing partner of Denver-based civil litigation firm Wheeler Trigg O Donnell LLP, where she focuses her practice on professional liability and complex commercial litigation. Carolyn has been called a lawyer's lawyer, successfully defending some of the nation's leading law firms and lawyers in highstakes legal malpractice matters throughout the country. In the past three years, Carolyn has won six trials and appeals for her clients before the Colorado Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit, and other federal and state courts. For 2017, Best Lawyers recognized Carolyn as the Denver Lawyer of the Year for Professional Malpractice Law - Defendants. 6 Kim Stuart, Principal Key Group (415) Kim Stuart, the Founder and President of Key Group, is a strategic advisor for professional services firms, non-profit organizations and business executives. She has more than 18 years of experience in constructing and advancing business development initiatives and marketing strategies. Kim is also a Senior Advisor and Faculty Member for Ackert Inc., the company behind the award-winning business development training platforms for professional services firms. Kim has personally facilitated over 100 training sessions with lawyers at both the senior associate and partner level. She also led the development and implementation of the Managing Partner Institute and Women Leaders Forum, comprehensive professional development programs that provide the insights, management principles, and framework essential for effective law firm leaders. With the firm since 2000, she has focused on initiatives to drive KPMG s best culture = best people strategies. Barbara leads our efforts on diversity, with a specific focus on gender diversity, including the firm s work/life programs and culture of flexibility. Barbara started in the firm s Center for Learning and Development (now the KPMG Business School), where she designed leadership and other firmwide training programs and moved to Workplace Solutions in From , she also led the firm s corporate social responsibility programs. In 2010 she was recognized by the Families and Work Institute with the Work/Life Legacy Award and in 2013 by Working Mother Media with the Ted Childs LifeWork Award.
