High level presentation but kept it easy to digest and make actionable. Valuable Information I can use immediately when I leave here. The Exception You re Missing: Investigating Disbursement Fraud. How to Monitor Risk and Best Practices presented by John Brocar, CFI He changed my perspective on vendor fraud investigations. Passionate presenter which made him fun to hear. Eye-Opening presentation I have some investigations to do when I get back.

3 2015 Speaker Bios GARY MONCUR, CFI Gary Moncur, CFI is the Director of Loss Prevention for Compass Group NAD. Compass Group is the world leader in commercial food and hospitality services. With over 10,000 accounts and $24B in annual sales Moncur oversees multiple aspects of all loss prevention efforts within the company. Gary has over 29 years in the retail industry and has held various positions including: Store management, Procurement, Analytical Services Manager, Regional Loss Prevention Manager and Regional LP Director. Gary previously managed teams in a divisional capacity with the Babies R US organization and Dollar General Corporation. Part of his career was spent in Operation s within the Toys R US organization which allows him to bring a very unique perspective to the loss prevention and audit world. CHRIS MCDONALD Chris McDonald is the Senior Vice President of Loss Prevention for Compass Group, NAD. Compass Group is the world leader in commercial food and hospitality services. With over 10,000 accounts and $24B in annual sales McDonald oversees multiple aspects of all loss prevention efforts within the company. Previous to Compass, McDonald oversaw loss prevention efforts at companies such as Dollar General, Toys R Us, and Babies R Us, as well as being a part of LP teams at Office Depot and Hartmarx Retail group. With over 20 years in the industry, he serves on the Editorial Board for Loss Prevention Magazine, as well as holding a seat on the board of the International Association of Interviews (IAI). He is a published author and has numerous other industry affiliations all focused on driving education and professional standards within the loss prevention industry. McDonald is a graduate of the University of Georgia and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. RAY BULL Ray Bull is Emeritus Professor of Forensic Psychology at the University of Leicester, and his major research topic is investigative interviewing. He has advised a large number of police forces in several countries on the interviewing of witnesses and of suspects, and he has testified as an expert witness in a considerable number of trials. Mr. Bull has been awarded multiple awards in investigative interviewing. In 2010 he received a Special Prize for his extensive contributions to investigative interviewing from the Scientific Committee of the Fourth International Conference on Investigative Interviewing. In 2009 Ray received from the International Investigative Interviewing Research Group the Senior Academic Award for his significant lifetime contribution to the field of investigative interviewing. In 2008 Ray received from the European Association of Psychology and Law an Award for Lifetime Contribution to Psychology and Law. In 2008 he received from the British Psychological Society the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Academic Knowledge in Forensic Psychology. In 2005 he received a Commendation from the London Metropolitan Police for Innovation and professionalism whilst assisting a complex rape investigation. He has authored and co-authored a large number of papers in quality research journals and has co-authored and co-edited many books including Investigative Interviewing: Psychology and Practice (1999 a second edition is now being written) and Witness Identification in Criminal Cases (2008). He has been an invited speaker at a variety of meetings around the world. In recognition of the quality and extent of his research publications he was in 1995 awarded a higher doctorate (Doctor of Science).

4 2015 Speaker Bios MICHAEL ROZIN Michael Rozin s career has focused on terrorism prevention and proactive security for over fourteen years. He is highly skilled in proactive protection against terrorists and other high-risk perpetrators of violence. Michael served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a Sergeant in a specialized combat unit Barkan. After the military service Michael completed the Advanced Security and Anti-Terrorism Training at the Israeli Security Academy under the oversight of the Israeli Security Agency (Shin-Bet), and joined the Israeli Airport Authority where he worked as a security agent for Ben-Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. In 2005 he received an award for excellence for his performance at the agency. In the United States, Michael was employed by Mall of America (MOA) as Special Operations Security Captain to enhance the counter-terrorism capabilities of MOA Security Department. In this capacity he has developed, implemented and managed a behavior detection unit, and a variety of additional innovative security programs focused on mitigating the threat of terrorism. These programs proved to be effective, and are now internationally recognized. Michael is the founder of Rozin Security Consulting LLC (RSC) dedicated to the advancement of proactive security methods. RSC specializes in conducting holistic risk assessments, training law enforcement and security personnel to utilize Suspicion Indicators Recognition & Assessment (SIRA ) system, and establishing proactive security programs. Michael is a regular guest speaker at law enforcement conferences on counter-terrorism, suicide terrorism and other proactive security methods. He has trained a number of law enforcement, and security agencies on counter-terrorism and tactical response techniques. In 2008 the security program Michael created for Mall of America was presented to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security as a model for security in the private sector. Michael is a graduate of the Institute of Counter-Terrorism (ICT) in the Interdisciplinary Center in Hertzliya, Israel where he completed a Masters Level Executive Counter-Terrorism Studies program. He is also a certified law-enforcement and civilian instructor in Krav Maga defensive tactics. He is fluent in Russian, Bulgarian, Hebrew and English. HARVIN C. MOORE, III Harvin, as a licensed attorney in Texas, has had extensive experience in investigating and interviewing witnesses in courtrooms and in depositions as a former Partner in the Houston law firm of Bracewell & Patterson (now, Bracewell & Giuliani). He specialized in Real Estate, Banking and Bankruptcy law. Following that, Harvin became the owner and built a vertically integrated Real Estate Development & Investment firm with subsidiaries in land development, homebuilding, mortgage banking, title insurance agency, real estate brokerage, commercial property development and homeowner and commercial property association management, with offices in the 5 major Texas markets. He then parlayed that into the ownership of a Texas Savings & Loan Assn. and grew it to an even larger size before the S & L meltdown in the late 1980s. Harvin is a graduate of Rice University (B.A. History) and the University of Texas Law School (J.D.). He is a published writer and author. Over the past 18 years, Harvin has spoken to thousands of business owners, corporate executives and students of all ages all over the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. From his extremely varied background and first hand experiences, Harvin has seen it all and from that, developed his own method for ferreting out why people engage in unethical and especially illegal, activities.
