Schick CPA, CGMA Vice President, Product and Strategy Integration Contact: As the head of The APEX Group, Bryan leads a talented group of tax, legal, and advanced design professionals. With over 20 years of experience in finance and financial services, in tandem with his background as an independent business owner, Bryan is keenly aware of the needs of entrepreneurial organizations. He played an instrumental role in working with industry leaders such as Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse to structure products for the premium financing and longevity capital markets. Bryan has earned the reputation as a respected speaker, both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Guardian, he was President of NFP International. Advanced Planning Consultants Victor Ngai, JD, CLU, ChFC Assistant Vice President, Head of Advanced Planning Consultants Contact: Victor_Ngai@glic.com Prior to joining Guardian, Victor spent five years leading the Case Management Group at SEI Wealth Network, three years at Prudential Securities heading the Prestige Private Client Group, and five years at Prudential Insurance in its Advanced Planning department. Before joining Prudential Insurance, he was a private practice attorney for 10 years in New York City, concentrating on business and estate planning. Victor has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences, company training sessions, agency meetings, as well as legal and accounting continuing education seminars. He has also been published extensively in professional publications, and quoted in mainstream media. Victor is a board member of the New York City Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and a committee member of LIMRA s Advanced Sales Group. James Magner, JD, CLU, ChFC Assistant Vice President Premium Financing and Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Contact: James_Magner@glic.com As a former IRS tax attorney, Jim wrote many private and public rulings on estate, gift, generation-skipping tax (GST), and charitable tax planning. Jim has published numerous articles in professional publications and is the co-author of several estate and insurance planning books. 1

Bryan Davis, CFP, CLU, ChFC Senior APEX Consultant Estate and Business Planning, Products, Competition Contact: Bryan is an 18-year industry veteran who has worked extensively with high net worth clients and their advisors. After early work in actuarial science and executive benefits administration, Bryan moved to personal planning, where he worked exclusively with advisors and clients in the areas of business planning, insurance planning, insurance analytics, and personal financial planning. Bryan previously was an Agency Manager for a TPA firm, as well as a Case Strategist for SEI Investment s Wealth Network, which serves high net worth clients. Michael s experience ranges from preparing tax returns for middle-market companies, to auditing large mutual funds and researching unique tax strategies for various companies.
