5 4. Why are you interested in joining EHRA Board (150 words max)? I have been actively working fo EHRA since Having served as the co-chair of the Scientific Program Committee since 2015 I have gathered a lot of valuable experience within the association, particularly in the preparation of the annual congresses (Nice in 2016, Vienna in 2017 and Barcelona in 2018). In addition, challenges to the changed environment for sponsoring events by industry (Medtech regulations), gave me the chance to actively work on the future of our association. However, there is still more to it. Working with partners within the EHRA and collegues from Europe and all over the world made my professional and personal life richer. I am simply proud of being part of the team! Being part of the Executive Board of the Association would further strengthen my collaboration for the Association and give me the possibility to shape the future and bring in my experience from the last intense years. 5. How will you coordinate your EHRA appointment with your daily clinical/research workload? Being both Head of the Electrophysiologic Department and Senior Consultant in my hospital, I have the liberty to combine both clinical, research work and work for a scientific association such as EHRA in a suitable way. Having served as co-chair of the Sceintific Program Committee I have gathered a vast experience on how to cope with multiple tasks throughout the day. In addition, I would suppose that my workload as a Treasurer would not surpass the amount of daily work that was needed for my previous engagement.
