Prior to starting his own firm, Sothea has worked for DFDL, an international investment consulting firm specialized in emerging markets. He was also a Legal Advisor at Mong Reththy Group (MRG), a major agro-industrial company in Cambodia and the region. He has extensive experience advising major Cambodian and international companies on various transactions ranging from investment, real estate and construction, economic land concession -with focus on palm oil, rubber, and sugar cane-, company formation, business expansion, employment issues, commercial contracts, securities, and insolvency matters.
