1 PLANNING YOUR COURSE OF STUDY (JURIS DOCTOR) This list is provided to aid students in planning their course of study. The law school anticipates offering these courses during the listed semesters. Students are advised, however, that this list is not a guarantee or promise that each of these courses will be offered. Circumstances may prevent a course from being offered during the time stated here. If a practice area is also listed as a concentration, students should verify that every course listed under the specific practice area will qualify for that concentration. If you have any questions you should contact the faculty advisor for the applicable concentration. Not every course listed for the various concentrations and practice areas is guaranteed to be offered during your next four semesters. The law school will, however, make an effort to ensure that courses are available to satisfy a concentration. The law school expects to add courses beyond those that are listed here. Students should check the course schedule each semester before registering for classes. In addition, the list of anticipated course offerings does not include summer courses, winter session courses, or many other courses that may be offered in a shortened format during the fall or spring semester. Students are thus advised to check the course schedule carefully when registering for each term.
