46 How long should a book be? There are no hard and fast rule, but KEY TIP 1 Only fill your book with quality content. KEY TIP 2 Ask yourself the question, What would I be happy to pay for my work? KEY TIP 3 Is the content readily available on the internet? If so, you won t get as much for it. KEY TIP 4 Have a USP in your book, this will increase your sales. KEY TIP 5 I always try and aim for 20,000 words. KEY TIP 6 Kindle is different to printed books as you can t feel the fabric. Therefore, you can generally get away with shorter books.

56 WRITING vs. SPEAKING We talk at approximately 150 words per minute How many words per minute can you type?
57 WRITING vs. SPEAKING I can type at approx. 30 words per minute! Assuming I want to write a 25,000 word book, that will take me 833 minutes, or rather 13 hours. It is very DIFFICULT to do that all in one go!! You will suffer write fatigue and possibly become de-motivated in the process.
58 WRITING vs. SPEAKING I can talk at approx. 150 words per minute! Assuming I want to write a 25,000 word book, that will take me 166 minutes, or rather 2.7 hours. It is far EASIER to do that all in one go!! You will not suffer with fatigue and you will not become de-motivated.

61 Tools required to implement the F.A.S.T system Transcription involves listening to a recording of something and typing the contents up into a document, which is then returned to the client, giving them a written record of what s on the recording. F.A.S.T
62 How much does QUALITY transcription cost? Typical example is 90 pence per 1 minute of audio. You can talk 20,000 words in approximately 133 minutes. Total cost for transcription = F.A.S.T
63 STEP 1 (TIME = 2 HOURS) Plan your book by creating bullet point sections or chapters and then write them down on a sheet of paper. 2 HOURS F.A.S.T
