Congratulations on publishing your book! This guide provides useful information to help you understand sales reports and discover more about publishing and marketing.

After logging into your Lulu account, click on My Projects. On the left of the screen, you should see a section called My Revenue. For sales information, click on Sales & Revenue.

1 Congratulations on publishing your book! This guide provides useful information to help you understand sales reports and discover more about publishing and marketing. Sales figures For Lulu All sales figures for the paperback version of your book will be shown in your Lulu account. This includes sales from Amazon. After logging into your Lulu account, click on My Projects. On the left of the screen, you should see a section called My Revenue. For sales information, click on Sales & Revenue. This will show you the total sales of your paperback book. Please note: it can take up to 3 months for Amazon sales figures to be listed here. Click on the Payment Contact button to ensure your name and address are listed. If they are not showing, please add your details.

2 Royalty payments due to you will be sent by cheque, however, you can choose to receive payments via PayPal instead. On the Payment Contacts page, click on Edit (under your name and address). Enter your PayPal details on the next page. For more information about Lulu, click on the Support link at the top right of the screen. For Amazon Kindle All sales figures for the ebook version of your book will be shown in your Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) account. After logging into your account, click on Reports (at the top of the screen). You will be offered this information: 1. Month-to-Date Unit Sales View your unit sales transactions for the current and prior month. 2. Prior Six Weeks' Royalties View your royalties for the past six weeks. 3. Prior Months' Royalties View your royalties for the past 12 months. These reports are generated by the 15th day of the month. Royalty payments due to you will be sent via Electronic Funds Transfer directly into your bank account. On the Your Account page and under the section called Your Bank Accounts, click on Add a bank account. Select your country and enter your bank details. As Amazon is an American company, if you use a UK bank account, you ll need to provide your IBAN and BIC international banking codes. If your bank doesn t provide these online, you ll need to get them from your bank. For more information about Amazon Kindle, press the Help button at the top right of the screen.

3 account During the publication process, we opened a special account for you. This address is used as the contact for your Lulu and Amazon accounts. To access this account, if your address ends with pnwriter, visit here: To sign in, use the address and password we provided to you for your Lulu and/or Kindle account. Now that your book is published, you are responsible for checking this account and communications from Lulu/Amazon Kindle. If you prefer, you can go into your accounts with Lulu/Amazon Kindle and change your registered address to your regular account. If you do, please be aware that you may receive more spam s. To change the address on the accounts to your personal address, you can do the following: For Lulu, log into your account. Hover over your name at the top and click My Account. On the right-hand side is the place to change the address and password. For Amazon KDP, it's a bit more convoluted. Log into your KDP account. At the top, click on (Your Name) s Account. This will take you to the page where you can add your bank details, if you wish. (Cashing a check in US dollars is very expensive). Down on the bottom left-hand side is a little amazonkindle logo in black and gold. Click on that.

4 Then again at the top where your name is, click on Your Account. It will take you to a page with a box that says Settings and has a link to Change Account Settings. Click on Change Account Settings and you can edit the address and password. Royalties We do not take any royalties - ours is a flat fee service. For the paperback, the printer (Lulu) takes their fee for printing costs, Amazon takes a large portion of the royalty because it s their shop, and then you receive the remainder. 5 Legal Deposit British Library Authors are responsible for sending a copy of their book to The British Library and, if requested or if the author wishes, to the agent for the other 5 official British Libraries. Change of book title and/or author name If you wish to change the title of your book and/or the author s name, then this will mean a new book will have to be published and our standard publishing prices for new books would apply. Your site can have up to three pages. We suggest this to include a home page, a page about your book, and a page about you.
