11 Residentenliste German Minority (Jewish) Census of 1939 Taken by the Third Reich of all minorities in Germany in 1939 Could be called the "1939 Jewish Census" to more aptly describe its content May be the last document in which you will find a Jewish ancestor listed before they were deported to a concentration camp German officials divided the country into census districts, some covering an entire state and others only 1-3 cities. Each census entry includes: Full Name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, Jewish or non-jewish status of their paternal and maternal grandparents, level of university education. 11
