Test Project Example PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE OF OFFSHORE WIND FARMS FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS Maintenance processes in the offshore wind power sector are complex, the environmental conditions are harsh and the equipment difficult to access Automatically collected sensors enables to monitor the conditions Data analytics enables evaluate easily and to create maintenance concept Predictive maintenance helps to extend the lifecycle of wind power plants and establish efficient maintenance cycles Reduction of maintenance costs 10
RAMI 4.0 Industrie 4.0-Component RAMI 4.0 Reference Architecture Model Asset shell e.g. Machine Industrie 4.0 communication 11
Test Project Example VALIDATION OF THE CONCEPT OF INDUSTRIE 4.0 COMPONENTS FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS Solution approach Implementation of the administration shell for Industrie 4.0 components. Using openaas to validate selected RAMI4.0 concepts in an existing environment. Browse through the relevant openaas objects and their contents. Project procedure Combines a physical flexible transportation system (Multi-Carrier-System) and a virtualized production plant. Both are connected to a cloud to analyze usage and energy consumption data. Several use cases will result in appropriate standardization activities. Presentation of the results at the 2017 Hannover Fair. 12
Test Project Example BIG DATA ANALYTICS IN ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS Solution approach Minimize disruption and maximize quality through big data analytics. Predict and manage maintenance intervals to avoid defects like the tombstone effect solder bridge inaccurate positioning missing component Project procedure Identify defect dependencies. Implement a digital twin to simulate and test extreme conditions. 13
Test Project Example MACHINE DATA ACQUISITION IN PRODUCTION FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS Real-time data from the existing machine control system is used to automatically calculate an OEE (overall equipment efficiency) Identifying possible interfaces for access to the machine control system Data can then be transferred to a gateway. The logic stored in the gateway takes care of linking the machine data From the database, the planning data can be used as required for display and evaluation purposes Available data for visualization and enabling efficient fault management 14
Test Project Example FACTORYVIEW SEEING THE FACTORY DIGITALLY AND IN REAL TIME FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS Solution approach Mobile assistance and information system with realtime information for buildings and workstations with 3D indoor viewer. Move through the factory, inspect workstations or measure objects on the PC. Project procedure Geometrically digitalization of the factory. Generate a 3D and photographic model as web application. Integrate "points of interest" (POI) and beacons (RFID) for further information. Integration and test environment 3D scan and indoor viewer Data and information processing 15
Test Project Example AUGMENTED REALITY INNOVATIVE VISUALIZATION OF PROTOTYPES FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS Augmented Reality applications open up entirely new possibilities in both design and engineering. HOLOneering is a startup which is able to visualize the three-dimensions of new YT mountain bikes in their original size Developed software is used to prepare simulation results and geometric data and to reduce the data volume for visualization The hologram app then converts the processed simulation results into holograms, which can be visualized in the real environment with Augmented Reality glasses. 16
Test Project Example INDUSTRIE 4.0 IN MECHATRONICS EDUCATION FACILITATE TEST SCENARIOS An Industrie 4.0 demonstrator with standard components from the so-called maker culture (parts from 3D printers, small computers such as Arduino and ESP8266). Demonstrator is used as a basis for a week-long workshop forming part of the mechatronics training program in Darmstadt, Germany 17
How can I participate? As a company Discuss your specific requirements with us Formulate your test scenario We will find a suitable test lab and partners for you Please contact us! info@lni40.de As a test lab Inform us about your test environment, cooperation, strategy and application expertise Provide information about test scenarios and results 18
